1 ¶ No a nosotros, oh SEÑOR, no a nosotros, sino a tu Nombre da gloria; por tu misericordia, por tu verdad.

¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

2 P or qué dirán los gentiles: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?

Why should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

3 Y nuestro Dios está en los cielos, todo lo que quiso ha hecho.

But our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

4 L os ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

5 T ienen boca, mas no hablarán; tienen ojos, mas no verán;

They have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

6 o rejas tienen, mas no oirán; tienen narices, mas no olerán;

They have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

7 m anos tienen, mas no palparán; tienen pies, mas no andarán; no hablarán con su garganta.

they have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

8 C omo ellos sean los que los hacen; cualquiera que en ellos confía.

Let those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

9 ¶ Oh Israel, confía en el SEÑOR; él es su ayuda y su escudo.

¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

10 C asa de Aarón, confiad en el SEÑOR; él es su ayuda y su escudo.

O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

11 L os que teméis al SEÑOR, confiad en el SEÑOR; él es su ayuda y su escudo.

Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

12 E l SEÑOR se acordó de nosotros; bendecirá sobremanera a la casa de Israel; bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.

The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 B endecirá a los que temen al SEÑOR; a chicos y a grandes.

He will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14 A crecentará el SEÑOR bendición sobre vosotros; sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos.

The LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

15 B enditos vosotros del SEÑOR, que hizo los cielos y la tierra.

Ye are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

16 L os cielos son los cielos del SEÑOR; y ha dado la tierra a los hijos de Adán.

The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

17 N o alabarán los muertos a JAH, ni todos los que descienden al silencio;

The dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

18 m as nosotros bendeciremos a JAH, desde ahora y para siempre. Alelu-JAH.

But we will bless JAH from this time forth and for evermore. Halelu-JAH.
