1 ¶ No juzguéis, para que no seáis juzgados.

¶ Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 P orque con el juicio con que juzgáis, seréis juzgados; y con la medida con que medís, os volverán a medir.

For with the judgment with which ye judge, ye shall be judged, and with the measure with which ye measure, ye shall be measured again.

3 Y ¿por qué miras la mota que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no echas de ver la viga que está en tu ojo?

And why dost thou behold the mote that is in thy brother’s eye but dost not consider the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 O ¿cómo dirás a tu hermano: Espera, echaré de tu ojo la mota, y he aquí hay una viga en tu ojo?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 ¡ Hipócrita! Echa primero la viga de tu ojo, y entonces mirarás en echar la mota del ojo de tu hermano.

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou be able to see to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

6 N o deis lo santo a los perros, ni echéis vuestras perlas delante de los puercos; no sea que las pisoteen, y se vuelvan y os despedacen.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rend you.

7 ¶ Pedid, y se os dará; buscad, y hallaréis; tocad, y se os abrirá.

¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you;

8 P orque cualquiera que pide, recibe; y el que busca, halla; y al que toca, se le abre.

for every one that asks receives, and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

9 ¿ Qué hombre hay de vosotros, a quien si su hijo pidiere pan, le dará una piedra?

Or what man is there of you, whom, if his son asks for bread, will he give him a stone?

10 ¿ Y si le pidiere un pez, le dará una serpiente?

Or if he asks for fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 P ues si vosotros, siendo malos, sabéis dar buenas dádivas a vuestros hijos, ¿cuánto más vuestro Padre que está en los cielos, dará buenas cosas a los que le piden?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in the heavens give good things to those that ask him?

12 ¶ Así que, todas las cosas que quisiereis que los hombres hicieren con vosotros, así también haced vosotros con ellos; porque esta es la ley y los profetas.

¶ Therefore, all things whatsoever ye desire that men should do unto you, so also shall ye do unto them, for this is the law and the prophets.

13 E ntrad por la puerta estrecha: porque el camino que lleva a perdición es ancho y espacioso; y los que van por él, son muchos.

Enter ye in at the narrow gate, for the way that leads to destruction is wide and spacious, and those who follow it are many;

14 P orque estrecha es la puerta, y angosto el camino que lleva a la vida; y pocos son los que lo hallan.

because narrow is the gate, and confined is the way which leads unto life, and there are few that find it.

15 ¶ También guardaos de los falsos profetas, que vienen a vosotros con vestidos de ovejas, mas de dentro son lobos robadores.

¶ Keep yourselves also from the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 P or sus frutos los conoceréis. ¿Se cogen uvas de los espinos, o higos de los abrojos?

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 D e esta manera, todo buen árbol lleva buenos frutos; mas el árbol podrido lleva malos frutos.

Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.

18 N o puede el buen árbol llevar malos frutos, ni el árbol podrido llevar frutos buenos.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 T odo árbol que no lleva buen fruto, se corta y se echa en el fuego.

Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

20 A sí que, por sus frutos los conoceréis.

So that by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 ¶ No todo el que me dice: Señor, Señor, entrará en el Reino de los cielos, sino el que hiciere la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos.

¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in the heavens.

22 M uchos me dirán en aquel día: Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre sacamos demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchas grandezas?

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 Y entonces les confesaré: Nunca os conocí; apartaos de mí, obradores de maldad.

And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 C ualquiera, pues, que me oye estas palabras, y las hace, le compararé al varón prudente, que edificó su casa sobre la peña;

Therefore, whosoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him unto a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;

25 y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, y combatieron aquella casa; y no cayó, porque estaba fundada sobre la peña.

and the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded upon a rock.

26 Y cualquiera que me oye estas palabras, y no las hace, le compararé al varón loco, que edificó su casa sobre la arena;

And every one that hears these words of mine and does not do them shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;

27 y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, e hicieron ímpetu en aquella casa; y cayó; y fue grande su ruina.

and the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.

28 Y cuando Jesús acabó estas palabras, la multitud se admiraba de su doctrina;

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these words, the multitude marvelled at his doctrine;

29 p orque les enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los escribas.

for he taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes.
