1 Y o me alegré con los que me decían: A la Casa del SEÑOR iremos.

¶ I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2 N uestros pies estuvieron en tus puertas, oh Jerusalén;

Our feet stood within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 J erusalén, la que es edificada como una ciudad que está bien unida entre sí.

Jerusalem, that one which is built as a city that is well united together

4 P orque allá subieron las tribus, las tribus de JAH, el testimonio a Israel, para alabar el Nombre del SEÑOR.

Because the tribes went up there, the tribes of JAH, the testimony to Israel, to praise the name of the LORD.

5 P orque allá están los tronos del juicio, los tronos de la casa de David.

For there are set thrones of the judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 ¶ Demandad la paz de Jerusalén; sean pacificados los que te aman.

¶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those that love thee shall be brought into rest.

7 H aya paz en tu antemuro, y descanso en tus palacios.

Peace be within thy walls and rest within thy palaces.

8 A causa de mis hermanos y mis compañeros hablaré ahora paz de ti.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 A causa de la Casa del SEÑOR nuestro Dios, buscaré bien para ti.

Because of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek thy good.
