1 Y o me alegré cuando me dijeron: Vamos a la casa del Señor.

¶ I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2 P lantados están nuestros pies dentro de tus puertas, oh Jerusalén.

Our feet stood within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 J erusalén, que está edificada como ciudad compacta, bien unida,

Jerusalem, that one which is built as a city that is well united together

4 a la cual suben las tribus, las tribus del Señor, ( lo cual es ordenanza para Israel) para alabar el nombre del Señor.

Because the tribes went up there, the tribes of JAH, the testimony to Israel, to praise the name of the LORD.

5 P orque allí se establecieron tronos para juicio, los tronos de la casa de David.

For there are set thrones of the judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 O rad por la paz de Jerusalén: Sean prosperados los que te aman.

¶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those that love thee shall be brought into rest.

7 H aya paz dentro de tus muros, y prosperidad en tus palacios.

Peace be within thy walls and rest within thy palaces.

8 P or amor de mis hermanos y de mis amigos diré ahora: Sea la paz en ti.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 P or amor de la casa del Señor nuestro Dios procuraré tu bien.

Because of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek thy good.
