1 D esde lo más profundo, oh Señor, he clamado a ti.

¶ Out of the depths I cry unto thee, O LORD.

2 ¡ Señor, oye mi voz! Estén atentos tus oídos a la voz de mis súplicas.

Lord, hear my voice; let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 S eñor, si tú tuvieras en cuenta las iniquidades, ¿quién, oh Señor, podría permanecer ?

If thou, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall endure?

4 P ero en ti hay perdón, para que seas temido.

Therefore there is forgiveness close to thee, that thou may be feared.

5 E spero en el Señor; en El espera mi alma, y en su palabra tengo mi esperanza.

¶ I have waited for the LORD, my soul has waited, and for his word I have waited.

6 M i alma espera al Señor más que los centinelas a la mañana; sí, más que los centinelas a la mañana.

My soul has waited for the Lord more than those that watch for the morning: I say, more than those that watch for the morning.

7 O h Israel, espera en el Señor, porque en el Señor hay misericordia, y en El hay abundante redención;

Let Israel wait for the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy and plenteous redemption close to him.

8 E l redimirá a Israel de todas sus iniquidades.

And he shall ransom Israel from all his sins.
