1 ¡ Aleluya! Cantad al Señor un cántico nuevo: su alabanza en la congregación de los santos.

¶ Halelu-JAH. Sing unto the LORD a new song, let his praise be in the congregation of the merciful.

2 A légrese Israel en su Creador; regocíjense los hijos de Sion en su Rey.

Let Israel rejoice with his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful with their King.

3 A laben su nombre con danza; cántenle alabanza con pandero y lira.

Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 P orque el Señor se deleita en su pueblo; adornará de salvación a los afligidos.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he will beautify the humble with saving health.

5 R egocíjense de gloria los santos; canten con gozo sobre sus camas.

The merciful shall be joyful with glory; they shall sing aloud upon their beds.

6 S ean los loores de Dios en su boca, y una espada de dos filos en su mano,

¶ The high praises of God shall be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 p ara ejecutar venganza en las naciones, y castigo en los pueblos;

to execute vengeance upon the Gentiles and punishments upon the peoples,

8 p ara atar a sus reyes con cadenas, y a sus nobles con grillos de hierro;

to imprison their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron,

9 p ara ejecutar en ellos el juicio decretado: esto es gloria para todos sus santos. ¡Aleluya!

to execute upon them the judgment written: this shall be glory for all his merciful ones. Halelu-JAH.
