1 D ios es nuestro refugio y fortaleza, nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones.

¶ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in tribulation.

2 P or tanto, no temeremos aunque la tierra sufra cambios, y aunque los montes se deslicen al fondo de los mares;

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,

3 a unque bramen y se agiten sus aguas, aunque tiemblen los montes con creciente enojo. (Selah )

though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the violence thereof. Selah.

4 H ay un río cuyas corrientes alegran la ciudad de Dios, las moradas santas del Altísimo.

There is a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the tents of the most High.

5 D ios está en medio de ella, no será sacudida; Dios la ayudará al romper el alba.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her, as the morning dawns.

¶ The Gentiles raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 E l Señor de los ejércitos está con nosotros; nuestro baluarte es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah)

The LORD of the hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 V enid, contemplad las obras del Señor, que ha hecho asolamientos en la tierra;

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he has made in the earth.

9 q ue hace cesar las guerras hasta los confines de la tierra; quiebra el arco, parte la lanza, y quema los carros en el fuego.

He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire.

10 E stad quietos, y sabed que yo soy Dios; exaltado seré entre las naciones, exaltado seré en la tierra.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted in the Gentiles, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 E l Señor de los ejércitos está con nosotros; nuestro baluarte es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah)
