1 E n ti, oh Señor, me refugio; jamás sea yo avergonzado.

¶ In thee, O LORD, have I waited; let me not be forever put to shame.

2 L íbrame en tu justicia, y rescátame; inclina a mí tu oído, y sálvame.

Deliver me in thy righteousness and cause me to escape; incline thine ear unto me and save me.

3 S é para mí una roca de refugio, a la cual pueda ir continuamente; tú has dado mandamiento para salvarme, porque tú eres mi roca y mi fortaleza.

Be thou my strong habitation unto which I may continually resort; thou hast given a commandment that I should be saved because thou art my rock and my fortress.

4 D ios mío, rescátame de la mano del impío, de la mano del malhechor y del implacable,

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the perverse and violent man.

5 p orque tú eres mi esperanza; oh Señor Dios, tú eres mi confianza desde mi juventud.

For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD; thou art my security from my youth.

6 D e ti he recibido apoyo desde mi nacimiento; tú eres el que me sacó del seno de mi madre; para ti es continuamente mi alabanza.

By thee have I been sustained from the womb; thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels; my praise has been continually of thee.

7 H e llegado a ser el asombro de muchos, porque tú eres mi refugio fuerte.

I am as a wonder unto many, but thou art my strong refuge.

8 L lena está mi boca de tu alabanza y de tu gloria todo el día.

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy glory all the day.

9 N o me rechaces en el tiempo de la vejez; no me desampares cuando me falten las fuerzas.

Do not cast me off in the time of old age; do not forsake me when my strength fails.

10 P orque mis enemigos han hablado de mí; y los que acechan mi vida han consultado entre sí,

For my enemies speak against me, and those that lay in wait for my soul take counsel together,

11 d iciendo: Dios lo ha desamparado; perseguidlo y apresadlo, pues no hay quien lo libre.

saying, God has forsaken him; persecute and take him for there is no one to deliver him.

12 O h Dios, no estés lejos de mí; Dios mío, apresúrate a socorrerme.

O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste for my help.

13 S ean avergonzados y consumidos los enemigos de mi alma; sean cubiertos de afrenta y de ignominia los que procuran mi mal.

Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

14 M as yo esperaré continuamente, y aún te alabaré más y más.

¶ But I will continually wait and will add upon all thy praise.

15 T odo el día contará mi boca de tu justicia y de tu salvación, porque son innumerables.

My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day, for I know not the numbers thereof.

16 V endré con los hechos poderosos de Dios el Señor; haré mención de tu justicia, de la tuya sola.

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

17 O h Dios, tú me has enseñado desde mi juventud, y hasta ahora he anunciado tus maravillas.

O God, thou hast taught me from my youth and until now; I shall manifest thy wondrous works.

18 Y aun en la vejez y las canas, no me desampares, oh Dios, hasta que anuncie tu poder a esta generación, tu poderío a todos los que han de venir.

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not until I have showed the strength of thy arm unto the next generation and thy power to every one that is to come,

19 P orque tu justicia, oh Dios, alcanza hasta los cielos, tú que has hecho grandes cosas; oh Dios, ¿quién como tú ?

and thy righteousness, O God, unto excellence because thou hast done great things; O God, who is like unto thee!

20 T ú que me has hecho ver muchas angustias y aflicciones, me volverás a dar vida, y me levantarás de nuevo de las profundidades de la tierra.

Thou who hast caused me to see great and sore troubles, shalt return and quicken me and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

21 A umenta tú mi grandeza, y vuelve a consolarme.

Thou shalt increase my greatness and comfort me on every side.

22 Y yo te daré gracias con el arpa, cantaré tu verdad, Dios mío; a ti cantaré alabanzas con la lira, oh Santo de Israel.

I will also praise thee with an instrument of the psaltery, O my God; unto thee will I sing thy truth with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

23 D arán voces de júbilo mis labios, cuando te cante alabanzas, y mi alma, que tú has redimido.

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto thee and my soul, which thou hast ransomed.

24 T ambién mi lengua hablará de tu justicia todo el día, porque han sido avergonzados, porque han sido humillados, los que procuran mi mal.

In the same manner my tongue shall talk of thy righteousness every day, for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
