1 A ti clamo, Señor, desde el fondo de mi angustia.

¶ Out of the depths I cry unto thee, O LORD.

2 ¡ Escucha, Señor, mi voz! ¡Que no se cierren tus oídos al clamor de mi súplica!

Lord, hear my voice; let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 S eñor, si te fijaras en nuestros pecados, ¿quién podría sostenerse en tu presencia?

If thou, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall endure?

4 P ero en ti hallamos perdón, para que seas reverenciado.

Therefore there is forgiveness close to thee, that thou may be feared.

5 S eñor, toda mi vida he esperado en ti, y he confiado en tus promesas.

¶ I have waited for the LORD, my soul has waited, and for his word I have waited.

6 Y o te espero, Señor, con toda el alma, como esperan los centinelas la mañana, como esperan los vigilantes el nuevo día.

My soul has waited for the Lord more than those that watch for the morning: I say, more than those that watch for the morning.

7 I srael, confía en el Señor, porque el Señor es misericordioso; ¡en él hay abundante redención!

Let Israel wait for the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy and plenteous redemption close to him.

8 E l Señor salvará a Israel de todos sus pecados.

And he shall ransom Israel from all his sins.
