1 Y o, Pablo, apóstol (y no de los hombres ni por medio de los hombres, sino por Jesucristo y por Dios el Padre que lo resucitó de los muertos),

¶ Paul, apostle (not from men neither through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead)

2 y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, deseamos a las iglesias de Galacia

and all the brethren who are with me, unto the congregations of Galatia:

3 q ue tengan gracia y paz de Dios el Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,

Grace be unto you and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

4 e l cual se dio a sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos del presente siglo malo, conforme a la voluntad de nuestro Dios y Padre,

who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

5 a quien sea dada la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén. No hay otro evangelio

unto whom be the glory for the ages of the ages. Amen.

6 M e asombra que tan pronto se hayan alejado ustedes del que los llamó por la gracia de Cristo, para seguir un evangelio diferente.

¶ I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel,

7 N o que haya otro evangelio, sino que hay algunos que los perturban y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo.

for there is not another; but there are some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of the Christ.

8 P ero si aun nosotros, o un ángel del cielo, les anuncia otro evangelio diferente del que les hemos anunciado, quede bajo maldición.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, were to preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be anathema.

9 C omo antes lo hemos dicho, también ahora lo repito: Si alguno les predica un evangelio diferente del que han recibido, quede bajo maldición.

As we said before, so do I say now again, If anyone preaches any other gospel unto you than what ye have received, let him be anathema.

10 ¿ Busco acaso el favor de la gente, o el favor de Dios? ¿O trato acaso de agradar a la gente? ¡Si todavía buscara yo agradar a la gente, no sería siervo de Cristo! El ministerio de Pablo

¶ For do I now persuade men or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the slave of Christ.

11 P ero les hago saber, hermanos, que el evangelio anunciado por mí no sigue criterios humanos,

But I make known unto you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not according to man.

12 p ues yo no lo recibí ni lo aprendí de nadie, sino que Jesucristo me lo reveló.

For I did not receive it nor learn it from man, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

13 P orque ya han oído ustedes hablar de cuál era mi conducta antes, en el judaísmo, cuando perseguía y asolaba sobremanera a la iglesia de Dios.

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in Judaism, how that beyond measure I was persecuting and destroying the congregation of God

14 E n el judaísmo, yo aventajaba en mi nación a muchos de mis contemporáneos, y era mucho más celoso de las tradiciones de mis padres.

And profited in Judaism above many of my equals in my own nation, being exceedingly more zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

15 P ero Dios me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre y me llamó por su gracia, y cuando a él le agradó

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace,

16 r evelar a su Hijo en mí para que yo lo anunciara entre los no judíos, no me apresuré a consultar a nadie,

to reveal his Son in me that I might preach him among the Gentiles, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood,

17 n i subí a Jerusalén para hablar con los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que fui a Arabia, y volví de nuevo a Damasco.

neither did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went into Arabia and returned again unto Damascus.

18 D espués, pasados tres años, subí a Jerusalén para ver a Pedro, y permanecí con él quince días;

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter and abode with him fifteen days.

19 p ero no vi a ningún otro apóstol, sino a Jacobo el hermano del Señor.

But I saw none of the other apostles, except James the Lord’s brother.

20 E n esto que les escribo, pueden ver delante de Dios que no miento.

Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I do not lie.

21 D espués fui a las regiones de Siria y de Cilicia,

Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia

22 y las iglesias de Judea, que eran en Cristo, no me conocían ni me habían visto;

and was unknown by face unto the congregations of Judaea which were in Christ,

23 s olamente habían oído decir: «Aquel que antes nos perseguía, ahora predica la fe que en otro tiempo buscaba destruir.»

but they had only heard, That he who persecuted us in time past now preaches the faith which he once destroyed.

24 Y glorificaban a Dios en mí.

And they glorified God in me.
