1 P ueblos todos, ¡agiten las manos! ¡Aclamen a Dios con voces de júbilo!

¶ O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 E l Señor, el Altísimo, es en verdad temible; ¡es el gran Rey de toda la tierra!

For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

3 E l Señor humillará bajo nosotros a los pueblos; pondrá a las naciones bajo nuestros pies.

He shall guide the peoples under us, and the Gentiles under our feet.

4 E scogió para nosotros la tierra que habitamos; ¡es el orgullo de Jacob, a quien amó!

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 D ios, el Señor, se ha entronizado entre aclamaciones y sonido de trompetas.

¶ God is gone up with a shout of joy, the LORD with the sound of the shofar.

6 ¡ Cantemos salmos a nuestro Dios! ¡Cantemos salmos a nuestro Rey!

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 ¡ Cantémosle un salmo digno de él, porque Dios es el Rey de toda la tierra!

For God is the King of all the earth; sing ye praises with understanding.

8 ¡ Dios reina ya sobre las naciones! ¡Dios ocupa ya su santo trono!

God reigns over the Gentiles; God sits upon the throne of his holiness.

9 L os príncipes de los pueblos se reúnen con el pueblo del Dios de Abrahán. ¡Dios merece ser grandemente exaltado, porque de él son los poderes de la tierra!

The princes of the peoples have joined the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong unto God; he is greatly exalted.
