¶ O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 ( 47-3) грізний бо Всевишній Господь, Цар великий всієї землі!

For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

3 ( 47-4) Він народи під нас підбиває, а поган нам під ноги,

He shall guide the peoples under us, and the Gentiles under our feet.

4 ( 47-5) Він нашу спадщину для нас вибирає, величність для Якова, що його полюбив. Села.

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 ( 47-6) Бог виступає при радісних окриках, Господь при голосі рога.

¶ God is gone up with a shout of joy, the LORD with the sound of the shofar.

6 ( 47-7) Співайте Богові нашому, співайте, співайте Цареві нашому, співайте,

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 ( 47-8) бо Бог Цар усієї землі, співайте навчальний псалом!

For God is the King of all the earth; sing ye praises with understanding.

8 ( 47-9) Бог зацарював над народами, Бог сів на святому Своєму престолі!

God reigns over the Gentiles; God sits upon the throne of his holiness.

9 ( 47-10) Зібрались владики народів, народ Бога Авраамового, як Божі щити на землі, між ними Він сильно звеличений!

The princes of the peoples have joined the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong unto God; he is greatly exalted.
