¶ Concerning the divisions of the porters, of the Korhites: Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

2 А в Мешелемії сини: первороджений Захарій, другий Єдіаїл, третій Зевадія, четвертий Ятніїл,

The sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah, the firstborn, Jediael, the second, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,

3 п 'ятий Елам, шостий Єгоханан, сьомий Ел'єгоенай.

Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Elioenai, the seventh.

4 А в Овед-Едома сини: первороджений Шемая, другий Єгозавад, третій Йоах, четвертий Сахар, і п'ятий Натанаїл,

The sons of Obededom: Shemaiah, the firstborn, Jehozabad, the second, Joah, the third, and Sacar, the fourth, Nethaneel, the fifth,

5 ш остий Амміїл, сьомий Іссахар, восьмий Пеуллетай, бо поблагословив його Бог.

Ammiel, the sixth, Issachar, the seventh, Peulthai, the eighth; for God had blessed him.

6 У сина його Шемаї народилися сини, що панували над домом їхнього батька, бо вони хоробрі вояки.

Also unto Shemaiah, his son, were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their fathers, for they were mighty men of valour.

7 С ини Шемаї: Отні, і Рефаїл, і Овед, Елзавад; його брати, мужі хоробрі, Елігу та Шемахія.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, Elzabad, and their brethren, strong men; likewise, Elihu and Semachiah.

8 У сі ці з Оведових синів; вони й сини та брати їхні кожен хоробрий муж у силі до праці, шістдесят і два для Овед-Едома.

All these of the sons of Obededom; they and their sons and their brethren, valiant men strong for the ministry, were sixty-two, of Obededom.

9 А в Мешелемії було синів та братів, мужів хоробрих, вісімнадцять.

And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.

10 А в Хоси, з синів Мерарі, сини: голова Шімрі, бо хоч не був він первороджений, та батько його настановив його за голову:

Of Hosah, of the sons of Merari: Simri, the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief)

11 д ругий Хілкійя, третій Тевалія, четвертий Захарій; усіх синів та братів у Хоси тринадцять.

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.

12 У цих були черги придверних, за головами мужчин, черги відповідно до їхніх братів на служення в Господньому домі.

Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another two by two, to minister in the house of the LORD.

13 І кинули вони жеребки, як малий, так і великий, за домом їхніх батьків, для кожної брами.

And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to the houses of their fathers, for each gate.

14 І впав жеребок на схід для Шелемії. І кинули жеребки для сина його Захарія, мудрого дорадника, і вийшов жеребок його на північ,

And the lot of the east fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah, his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out for the north.

15 д ля Овед-Едома, на південь, а для синів його комори.

To Obededom towards the Negev; and to his sons the house of consultation.

16 Д ля Шуппіма та для Хоси на захід, разом із брамою Шаллехет, де підіймається битий шлях, варта навпроти варти.

To Shuppim and Hosah to the west, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

17 Н а схід шість Левитів, на північ четверо на день, на південь четверо на день, а для комори по двоє.

To the east six Levites, to the north four by day, to the Negev four by day, and toward the house of the consultation two by two.

18 Д ля Парбару на захід четверо для битого шляху, двоє для Парбару.

At the chamber of the vessels to the west, four in the way and two in the chamber.

19 О це черги придверних із синів Корахівців та з синів Мерарі.

These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore and among the sons of Merari.

20 А Левити: Ахійя був над скарбами Божого дому та до скарбів святині.

¶ And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God and over the treasures of the holy things.

21 С ини Ладана, сини Ґершонівців, від Ладана, голови дому батьків, від Ладана Ґершонівця: Єхіїлі.

As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of Gershon: of Laadan; chief fathers of Laadan were Gershon and Jehieli.

22 С ини Єхіїлі: Зетам та Йоїл, брат його, над скарбами Господнього дому.

The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel, his brother, who were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.

23 Д ля Амрамівців, для Їцгарівців, для Хевронівців, для Аззіїлівців:

Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites,

24 Ш евуїл, син Ґершома, сина Мойсея, володар над скарбами.

Shebuel, the son of Gershon, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.

25 А брати його від Еліезера: його син Рехавія, і його син Ісая, і його син Йорам, і його син Зіхрі, і його син Шеломіт.

And his brother Eliezer, Rehabiah, his son, Jeshaiah, his son, Joram, his son, Zichri, his son, and Shelomith, his son.

26 Ц ей Шеломіт та брати його були над усіма скарбами святині, які посвятив цар Давид та голови дому батьків, і тисячники, і сотники та зверхники війська,

This Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the holy things, which David, the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the princes of the host had dedicated.

27 з воєн та зо здобичі вони присвячували на підтримання Господнього дому,

That which out of the spoils won in battles they had dedicated to maintain the house of the LORD.

28 і все, що посвятив прозорливець Самуїл, і Саул, син Кішів, і Авнер, син Нерів, і Йоав, син Церуїн, усе посвячене було в руці Шеломіта та братів його.

Likewise, all that Samuel, the seer, and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, and all that anyone had dedicated; it was under the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.

29 В ід Їцгарівців: Кенанія та сини його на зовнішню роботу над Ізраїлем, на писарів та на суддів.

¶ Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were governors and judges over Israel.

30 В ід Хевронівців: Хашавія та брати його, мужі хоробрі, тисяча й сім сотень, над переглядом Ізраїля з другого боку Йордану на захід, для всякої Господньої праці та для роботи царської.

Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand seven hundred, presided over Israel on the other side of the Jordan westward in all the work of the LORD and in the service of the king.

31 В ід Хевронівців: Єрійя голова для Хевронівця, для його нащадків, за домом батьків. У сороковому році Давидового царювання вони були досліджені, і серед них знайдено хоробрих мужів в гілеадському Язері.

Of the Hebronites was Jerijah, the chief among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

32 А брати його мужі хоробрі, дві тисячі й сім сотень, голови дому батьків. І цар Давид настановив їх над Рувимівцями і над Ґадівцями та над половиною племени Манасіїного для всякої Божої справи та справи царської.

And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand seven hundred chief fathers, whom King David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God and affairs of the king.
