1 ف ِرَقُ البَوّابِينَ مِنْ أبْناءِ قُورَحَ: مَشلَمْيا بْنُ قُورِي، وَهُوَ أحَدُ أبْناءِ آسافَ.

¶ Concerning the divisions of the porters, of the Korhites: Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

2 و َكانَ لِمَشلَمْيا أبْناءٌ: البِكرُ زَكَرِيّا، وَالثّانِي يَدِيعِيئِيلُ، وَالثّالِثُ زَبَدْيا، وَالرّابِعُ يَثْنَئِيلُ،

The sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah, the firstborn, Jediael, the second, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,

3 و َالخامِسُ عِيلامُ، وَالسّادِسُ يَهُوحانانُ، وَالسّابِعُ ألِيهُو عِينايُ.

Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Elioenai, the seventh.

4 و َكانَ لِعُوبِيدَ أدُومَ أبْناءٌ هُمُ البِكْرُ شَمَعْيا، وَالثّانِي يَهُوزابادُ، وَالثّالِثُ يُوآخُ، وَالرّابِعُ ساكارُ، وَالخامِسُ نَثْنَئِيلُ،

The sons of Obededom: Shemaiah, the firstborn, Jehozabad, the second, Joah, the third, and Sacar, the fourth, Nethaneel, the fifth,

5 و َالسّادِسُ عَمِّيئِيلُ، وَالسّابِعُ يَسّاكَرُ، وَالثّامِنُ فَعَلْتايُ. فَقَدْ بارَكَهُ اللهُ فِعلاً.

Ammiel, the sixth, Issachar, the seventh, Peulthai, the eighth; for God had blessed him.

6 و َكانَ لابْنِهِ شَمْعِيا أبناءٌ أيضاً، رُؤَساءٌ لِعائِلاتِهِمْ، لِأنَّهُمْ كانُوا مِنْ طَبَقَةِ المُحارِبينَ النُّبَلاءِ.

Also unto Shemaiah, his son, were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their fathers, for they were mighty men of valour.

7 أ بناءُ شَمِعْيا هُمْ عَثْنِي وَرَفائِيلُ وَعُوبِيدُ وَألْزابادُ وَأخَواهُ ألِيهُو وَسَمَكْيا، وَهُما رَجُلانِ مُقْتَدِرانِ.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, Elzabad, and their brethren, strong men; likewise, Elihu and Semachiah.

8 ك انَ هَؤُلاءِ كُلُّهُمْ أبْناءَ عُوبِيدَ آدُومَ، هُمْ وَأبناؤُهُمْ وَأقارِبُهُمْ، رِجالاً مُقْتَدِرِينَ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ بِقُوَّةٍ لِلقِيامِ بِوَظائِفِهِمْ، وَعَدَدُهُمُ اثْنانِ وَسِتُّونَ، وَهُمْ مِنْ نَسلٍ عُوبِيدَ أدُومَ.

All these of the sons of Obededom; they and their sons and their brethren, valiant men strong for the ministry, were sixty-two, of Obededom.

9 و َكانَ لِمَشلَمْيا أبناءٌ وَأقارِبُ عَدَدُهُمْ ثَمانِيَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلاً مُقتَدِراً.

And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.

10 و َكانَ لِحُوسَةَ المِرارِيِّ أبْناءٌ: الرَّئِيسُ شِمْرِي. مَعَ أنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنِ البِكْرَ، لَكِنَّ أباهُ جَعَلَهُ الرَّئِيسَ.

Of Hosah, of the sons of Merari: Simri, the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief)

11 و َالثّانِي حِلْقِيّا، وَالثّالِثُ طَبَلْيا، وَالرّابِعُ زَكَرِيّا. فَكانَ عَدَدُ أبناءِ حُوسَةَ وَأقارِبِهِ ثَلاثَةَ عَشَرَ.

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.

12 ك انَ لِفِرَقِ البَوّابِينَ هَذِهِ، وَهُمْ قادَةُ الرِّجالِ، وَاجِباتٌ كَأقارِبِهِمْ فِي خِدمَةِ بَيتِ اللهِ.

Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another two by two, to minister in the house of the LORD.

13 و َألقَوْا قُرْعةً للْجَمِيعِ، للشَّبابِ وَالكِبارِ بحَسَبِ عائِلاتِهِمْ لِحِراسَةِ كُلِّ بوّابةٍ.

And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to the houses of their fathers, for each gate.

14 و َألقَوْا قُرْعَةً لِشَلَمْيا لِحِراسَةِ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرْقِيَّةِ. وَألقَوْا قُرْعَةً لِزَكَرِيّا بنِ شَلَمْيا، وَهُوَ مُسْتَشارٌ حَكِيمٌ، فَكانَ عَليهِ حِراسةُ البَوّابةِ الشَّماليَّةِ.

And the lot of the east fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah, his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out for the north.

15 أ مّا البَوّابَةُ الجَنُوبِيَّةُ فَكانَتْ مِنْ نَصِيبِ عُوبِيدَ أدُومَ. وَكُلِّفَ أبناؤُهُ بِحِراسَةِ المَخزَنِ.

To Obededom towards the Negev; and to his sons the house of consultation.

16 و َكانَتْ مِنْ نَصِيبِ شُفِّيمَ وَحُوساَ البَوّابَةُ الغَربِيَّةُ، مَعَ بَوّابَةِ شَلَّكَةَ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ الصّاعِدِ. فَكانَ الحُرّاسٌ يَتَناوَبُونَ.

To Shuppim and Hosah to the west, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

17 ف َيَقِفُ عِندَ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرْقِيَّةِ سِتَّةُ لاوِيِّينَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ، وَعِندَ البَوّابَةِ الشِّمالِيَّةِ أربَعَةٌ كُلَّ يَومٍ، وَعِندَ البوّابَةِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ أربَعَةٌ كُلَّ يَومٍ. وَيَتَناوَبُونَ عَلَى حِراسَةِ المَخزَنِ اثْنَينِ اثْنَينِ.

To the east six Levites, to the north four by day, to the Negev four by day, and toward the house of the consultation two by two.

18 أ مّا بِالنِّسْبَةِ لِلقاعَةِ الغَربِيَّةِ، فَكانَ هُناكَ أربَعَةُ حُرّاسٍ عِندَ الطَّرِيقِ، وَاثْنانِ عِنْدَ القاعَةِ.

At the chamber of the vessels to the west, four in the way and two in the chamber.

19 ه َذِهِ هِيَ فِرَقُ البَوّابِينَ مِنَ القُورَحِيِّينَ وَالمَرارِيِّينَ. أُمَناءُ المَخازن وَآخَرُون

These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore and among the sons of Merari.

20 و َمِنَ اللاوِيِّينَ، كانَ أخِيّا مَسْؤُولاً عَنْ حِراسةِ مَخازِنِ بَيتِ اللهِ وَمَخازِنِ التَّقدِماتِ المَحْفُوظَةِ.

¶ And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God and over the treasures of the holy things.

21 و َأمّا أبناءُ لَعْدانَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ عائِلَةِ جَرْشُونَ، رُؤَساءُ عائِلاتِ لَعْدانَ الجَرْشُونِيِّ فَكانَ الرَّئِيسُ هُوَ يَحِيئِيلِي.

As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of Gershon: of Laadan; chief fathers of Laadan were Gershon and Jehieli.

22 و َكانَ ابْنا يَحِيئِيلِي زِيثامُ وَيُوئِيلُ مَسْؤُولَيْنِ عَنْ مَخازِنِ بَيتِ اللهِ.

The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel, his brother, who were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.

23 م ِنْ أبناءِ عَمْرامَ، وَيَصْهارَ، وَحَبْرُونَ، وَعُزِّيئِيلَ،

Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites,

24 ك انَ شَبُوئِيلُ بْنُ جَرْشُومَ بْنِ مُوسَى المَسؤُولَ الآَوَّلَ عَنِ المَخازِنِ.

Shebuel, the son of Gershon, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.

25 و َإخْوَتُهُ مِنْ ألِيعَزَرَ هُمْ رَحَبْيا بْنُ ألِيعَزَرَ، وَيَشْعِيا بْنُ رَحَبْيا، وَيُورامُ بْنُ يَشْعِيا، وَزِكْرِي بْنُ يُورامَ، وَشَلُومِيثُ بْنُ زِكْرِي.

And his brother Eliezer, Rehabiah, his son, Jeshaiah, his son, Joram, his son, Zichri, his son, and Shelomith, his son.

26 ك انَ شَلُومِيثُ وَأقرِباؤُهُ مَسؤُولِينَ عَنِ جَميعِ مَخازِنِ التَّقدِماتِ الَّتِي خَصَّصَها المَلِكُ داوُدُ لِخِدْمَةِ الهَيكَلِ، وَالَّتِي قَدَّمَها رُؤَساءُ العائِلاتِ وَقادَةُ الآلافِ وَالمِئاتِ، وَقادَةُ الجَيشِ.

This Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the holy things, which David, the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the princes of the host had dedicated.

27 ف َقَدْ خَصَّصُوا عَطايا مِنَ غَنائِمِ الحُرُوبِ مِنْ أجلِ صِيانَةِ بَيتِ اللهِ.

That which out of the spoils won in battles they had dedicated to maintain the house of the LORD.

28 ف َكُلُّ ما خَصَّصَهُ صَمُوئِيلُ الرّائِي وَشاوُلُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَأبْنِيرُ بْنُ نِيرٍ وَيُوآبُ بنُ صُرُوِيَّةَ، كانَ فِي عُهْدَةِ شَلُومِيثَ وَأقرِبائِهِ.

Likewise, all that Samuel, the seer, and Saul, the son of Kish, and Abner, the son of Ner, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah, and all that anyone had dedicated; it was under the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.

29 و َمِنَ اليَصْهارِيِّينَ، تَعَيَّنَ كَنَنْيا وَأبناؤُهُ لِلعَمَلِ خارِجَ الهَيكَلِ كَمَسؤُولِينَ وَقُضاةً عَلَى إسْرائِيلَ.

¶ Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were governors and judges over Israel.

30 م ِنَ الحَبْرُونِيِّينَ حَشَبْيا وَأقرِباؤُهُ، ألفٌ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ مُقتَدِرٍ، مَسؤُولُونَ عَنْ جَميعِ شُؤونِ خِدمَةِ اللهِ وَخِدْمَةِ المَلِكِ فِي إسْرائِيلَ، إلَى الغَربِ مِنْ نَهْرِ الأُردُنِّ.

Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand seven hundred, presided over Israel on the other side of the Jordan westward in all the work of the LORD and in the service of the king.

31 أ مّا بِالنِّسْبَةِ لِلحَبرُونِيِّينَ، فَكانَ يَرَيّا رَئِيسَ الحَبرُونِيِّنَ حَسَبَ سِجِلّاتِ أنسابِ عائِلاتِهِمْ. وَفِي السَّنَةِ الأربَعِينَ مِنْ حُكمِ داوُدَ، جَرَى فَحصٌ لِلسِّجِلّاتِ، فَوُجِدَ رِجالٌ مُقتَدِرِونَ بَينَهُمْ فِي يَعزِيرَ فِي جِلْعادَ.

Of the Hebronites was Jerijah, the chief among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

32 و َكانَ لَدَى يَرَيّا ألفانِ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةِ قَرِيبٍ، كانُوا رِجالاً مُقتَدِرِينَ وَرُؤَساءَ عائِلاتِهِمْ. فَعَيَّنَهُمْ داوُدُ مَسْؤُولِينَ عَنِ الرَأُوبَيْنِيِّينَ وَالجادِيِّينَ وَنِصْفِ قَبِيلَةِ مَنَسَّى فِي ما يَتَعَلَّقُ بِكُلِّ أُمُورِ اللهِ وَشُؤونِ المَلِكِ.

And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand seven hundred chief fathers, whom King David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God and affairs of the king.
