1 ه َنِيئاً لِكُلِّ مَنْ يَخافُونَ اللهَ وَيُوَقِّرُونَهُ، الَّذِينَ يَتبَعُونَ طُرُقَهُ.

¶ Blessed is every one that fears the LORD, that walks in his ways.

2 ب ِثَمَرِ تَعَبِ يَدَيكَ سَتَتَمَتَّعُ. وَيَكُونُ لَكَ خَيرٌ وَسَعادَةٌ.

When thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 ف ِي بَيتِكَ تَكُونُ زَوجَتُكَ كَكَرمَةٍ مُثمِرَةٍ. وَيَكُونُ أولادُكَ حَولَ مائِدَتِكَ كَأشْجارِ زَيتُونٍ مَزرُوعَةٍ عِندَ الجَداوِلِ.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thy house; thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 ه َكَذا يُبارِكُ اللهُ مَنْ يَخافُهُ وَمَنْ يُوَقِّرُهُ.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.

5 ف َلْيُبارِكْكَ اللهُ مِنْ هَيكَلِهِ عَلَى جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ، فَتَتَمَتَّعَ بِبَرَكاتِ القُدسِ كُلَّ حَياتِكَ!

The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion, and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 و َلَيتَكَ تَرَى أبناءَ بَنِيكَ. سَلامٌ لِلقُدسِ!

Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children and peace upon Israel.
