1 П існя. Псалом Давидів. (108-2) Моє серце зміцнилося, Боже, я буду співати та славити разом з своєю хвалою!

¶ O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise; this is my glory.

2 ( 108-3) Збудися ж ти, арфо та цитро, я буду будити досвітню зорю!

Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.

3 ( 108-4) Я буду Тебе вихваляти, о Господи, серед народів, і буду співати Тобі між племенами,

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the peoples, and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4 ( 108-5) бо більше від неба Твоє милосердя, а правда Твоя аж до хмар!

For thy mercy is great above the heavens, and thy truth reaches unto the heavens.

5 ( 108-6) Піднесися ж, о Боже, над небо, а слава Твоя над усією землею!

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens and thy glory above all the earth;

6 ( 108-7) Щоб любі Твої були визволені, Своєю правицею допоможи й обізвися до нас!

¶ that thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

7 ( 108-8) У святині Своїй Бог промовив: Нехай Я звеселюся, розділю Я Сихем, і долину Суккотську поміряю.

God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8 ( 108-9) Належить Мені Ґілеад, і Мені Манасія, а Єфрем охорона Моєї голови, Юда берло Моє.

Gilead shall be mine; Manasseh shall be mine; Ephraim also shall be the strength of my head; Judah shall be my lawgiver;

9 ( 108-10) Моав то мідниця Мого миття, на Едом узуттям Своїм кину, над Филистеєю буду погукувати!

Moab shall be my washpot; over Edom I will cast my shoe; over Philistia I will triumph.

10 ( 108-11) Хто мене запровадить до міста твердинного, хто до Едому мене приведе?

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 ( 108-12) Хіба ж Ти покинув нас, Боже, і серед нашого війська не вийдеш вже, Боже?

Surely thou, O God, who had cast us off and did not, O God, go forth with our hosts.

12 ( 108-13) Подай же нам поміч на ворога, людська бо поміч марнота!

Give us help from trouble; for the salvation of man is deception.

13 ( 108-14) Ми мужність покажемо в Бозі, і Він потопче противників наших!

Through God we shall do valiantly, for he shall tread down our enemies again.
