1 ( 114-9) Не нам, Господи, не нам, але Йменню Своєму дай славу за милість Твою, за правду Твою!

¶ Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truth.

2 ( 114-10) Пощо мають казати народи: Де ж то їхній Бог?

Why should the Gentiles say, Where is now their God?

3 ( 114-11) А Бог наш на небі, усе, що хотів, учинив.

But our God is in the heavens; he has made whatever he has desired.

4 ( 114-12) Їхні божки срібло й золото, діло рук людських:

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

5 ( 114-13) вони мають уста й не говорять, очі мають вони і не бачать,

They have mouths, but they shall never speak; they have eyes, but they shall never see:

6 ( 114-14) мають уші й не чують, мають носа й без нюху,

They have ears, but they shall never hear; they have noses, but they shall never smell;

7 ( 114-15) мають руки та не дотикаються, мають ноги й не ходять, своїм горлом вони не говорять!

they have hands, but they shall never touch; they have feet, but they shall never walk; they shall never speak through their throat.

8 ( 114-16) Нехай стануть такі, як вони, ті, хто їх виробляє, усі, хто надію на них покладає!

Let those that make them become like unto them, and every one that trusts in them.

9 ( 114-17) ізраїлю, надію складай лиш на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!

¶ O Israel, trust thou in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

10 ( 114-18) Аароновий доме, надійтесь на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!

O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

11 ( 114-19) Ті, що Господа боїтеся, надійтесь на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!

Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; he is your help and your shield.

12 ( 114-20) Господь пам'ятає про нас, нехай поблагословить! Нехай поблагословить ізраїлів дім, нехай поблагословить Він дім Ааронів!

The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will greatly bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 ( 114-21) Нехай поблагословить Він тих, хто має до Господа страх, малих та великих!

He will bless those that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14 ( 114-22) Нехай вас розмножить Господь, вас і ваших дітей!

The LORD shall increase his blessing upon you more and more, upon you and your sons.

15 ( 114-23) Благословенні ви в Господа, що вчинив небо й землю!

Ye are blessed of the LORD who made the heavens and earth.

16 ( 114-24) Небо, небо для Господа, а землю віддав синам людським!

The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.

17 ( 114-25) Не мертві хвалитимуть Господа, ані ті всі, хто сходить у місце мовчання,

The dead shall not praise JAH, neither any that go down into silence.

18 ( 114-26) а ми благословлятимемо Господа відтепер й аж навіки! Алілуя!
