1 А оце були Давидові сини, що народилися йому в Хевроні: первороджений Амнон, від їзреелітянки Ахіноам; другий Даниїл, від кармелітянки Авіґаїл;

¶ Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon of Ahinoam, the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel of Abigail of Carmel;

2 т ретій Авесалом, син Маахи, дочки Талмая, царя ґешурського; четвертий Адонійя, син Хаґґіт;

the third, Absalom, the son of Maachah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, the son of Haggith;

3 п 'ятий Шефатія, від Авітал; шостий Їтреам, від жінки його Еґли;

the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.

4 ш естеро народжено йому в Хевроні. І царював він там сім років і шість місяців, а тридцять і три роки царював в Єрусалимі.

These six were born unto him in Hebron, and there he reigned seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.

5 А оці народилися йому в Єрусалимі: Шім'а, і Шовав, і Натан, і Соломон, четверо від Вірсавії, Амміїлової дочки,

And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon, four of Bathshua, the daughter of Ammiel:

6 і Ївхар, і Елішама, і Еліфалет,

And another nine: Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7 і Ноґаг, і Нефеґ, і Яфія,

Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

8 і Елішама, і Еліяда, і Еліфелет, дев'ятеро.

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.

9 У се це Давидові сини, окрім синів наложниць та сестри їх Тамари.

These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar was their sister.

10 А син Соломонів Рехав'ам, його син Авійя, його син Аса, його син Йосафат,

¶ And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abia, his son; Asa, his son; Jehoshaphat, his son;

11 й ого син Йорам, його син Ахазія, його син Йоаш,

Joram, his son; Ahaziah, his son; Joash, his son;

12 й ого син Амація, його син Азарія, його син Йотам,

Amaziah, his son; Azariah, his son; Jotham, his son;

13 й ого син Ахаз, його син Хізкійя, його син Манасія,

Ahaz, his son; Hezekiah, his son; Manasseh, his son;

14 й ого син Амон, його син Йосія.

Amon, his son; Josiah, his son.

15 А сини Йосії: первороджений Йоханан, другий Єгояким, третій Седекія, четвертий Шаллум.

And the sons of Josiah: the firstborn, Johanan; the second, Jehoiakim; the third, Zedekiah; the fourth, Shallum.

16 А сини Єгоякимові: Єхонія син його, та син його Седекія.

The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah, his son; Zedekiah his son.

17 А сини Єхонії: Ассір, Шеал'тіїл, син його,

And the sons of Jeconiah: Assir, Salathiel, his son,

18 і Малкірам, і Педая, і Шен'аццар, Єкам'я, Гошама, і Недав'я.

Malchiram also, Pedaiah, Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 А сини Педаї: Зоровавель і Шім'ї. А сини Зоровавеля: Мешуллам, і Хананія, і сестра їхня Шеломіт,

And the sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, Hananiah, and Shelomith, their sister.

20 і Хашува, і Огел, і Верех'я, і Хасад'я, Юшав-Хесед, п'ятеро.

And of Meshullam: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushabhesed, five in all.

21 А сини Хананії: Пелатія та Єшая, сини Рефаї, сини Арнонові, сини Овадії, сини Шеханії.

The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jesaiah, the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.

22 А сини Шеханії: Шемая. А сини Шемаї: Хаттиш, і Їґ'ал, і Баріах, і Неарія, і Шафат, шестеро.

And the son of Shechaniah: Shemaiah, and the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, Igeal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

23 А сини Неарії: Ел'йоенай, і Хізкійя, і Азрікам, троє.

And the sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.

24 А сини Ел'йоенаєві: Годав'я, і Ел'яшів, і Пелая, і Аккув, і Йоханан, і Делая, і Анані, семеро.

And the sons of Elioenai: Hodaiah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.
