1 І зробиш жертівника на кадіння кадила, з акаційного дерева зробиш його.

¶ In the same manner thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon; of cedar wood shalt thou make it.

2 Л ікоть довжина його, і лікоть ширина його, квадратовий нехай буде він, а два лікті вишина його. З нього виходитимуть роги його.

Its length shall be a cubit and its width a cubit; it shall be square and its height two cubits; its horns shall be of the same.

3 І пообкладаєш його щирим золотом, дах його та стіни його навколо, та роги його. І зробиш йому вінця золотого навколо.

And thou shalt cover it with pure gold, its top and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou shalt make unto it a moulding of gold round about.

4 І дві золоті каблучки зробиш йому під вінця його, на двох боках його зробиш, на двох сторонах, і буде це на вкладання для держаків, щоб ними носити його.

And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under its moulding by its two corners on both sides for places for the staves to bear it with.

5 І поробиш держаки з акаційного дерева, і пообкладаєш їх золотом.

And thou shalt make the staves of cedar wood and cover them with gold.

6 І поставиш його перед завісою, що над ковчегом свідоцтва, перед віком, що на свідоцтві, яким Я буду тобі відкриватися там.

And thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the seat of reconciliation that is over the testimony, where I will testify unto thee of myself.

7 І буде Аарон кадити на ньому кадило пахощів щоранку, коли він поправлятиме лямпадки, то буде кадити його.

And Aaron shall burn sweet incense thereon every morning; when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn it.

8 І при запаленні лямпадок під вечір він буде кадити його. Це постійне кадило перед Господнім лицем на ваші покоління!

And when Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn incense upon it continually before the LORD throughout your ages.

9 Н е запалите на ньому чужого кадила, ані цілопалення, ані жертви хлібної, і жертви рідинної не будете лити на ньому.

Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon nor burnt sacrifice nor present; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.

10 І складе Аарон окупа на роги його, раз у році, з крови жертви за гріх раз у році дня Окуплення складе він окупа на нього на ваші покоління. Це найсвятіше для Господа!

And Aaron shall make reconciliation upon the horns of it once a year with the blood of the reconciliation for sin; once a year shall he make reconciliation upon it throughout your ages; it shall be most holy unto the LORD.

11 І промовив Господь до Мойсея, говорячи:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

12 К оли будеш робити перелік Ізраїлевих синів за тими, кого повинно лічити, то дадуть вони кожен викупа за душу свою Господеві при переліку їх, і не буде між ними моровиці при переліку їх.

When thou takest the number of the sons of Israel after the sum of them, each one shall give a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou dost number them, that there be no mortality in them because of numbering them.

13 О це дасть кожен, що переходить на переліку: половину шекля, на міру шеклем святині, двадцять ґер той шекель; половина цього шекля приношення для Господа.

This shall be given by every one that passes among those that are numbered: half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs); a half shekel shall be the offering to the LORD.

14 К ожен, хто переходить на переліку, від віку двадцяти літ і вище, дасть приношення для Господа.

Anyone that passes among those that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give the offering unto the LORD.

15 Б агатий не побільшить, а вбогий не зменшить від половини шекля, даючи приношення Господеві для складання окупу за ваші душі.

The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give the offering unto the LORD to make reconciliation for your souls.

16 І візьмеш гроші окупу від Ізраїлевих синів, та й даси їх на роботу скинії заповіту. І буде воно Ізраїлевим синам на пам'ять перед Господнім обличчям для окуплення за ваші душі.

And thou shalt take the reconciliation money of the sons of Israel and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the testimony, and it shall be a memorial unto the sons of Israel before the LORD to reconcile your souls.

17 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

¶ And the LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,

18 І зробиш умивальницю з міді, і підстава її мідь, на вмивання. І поставиш її між скинією заповіту й між жертівником, і наллєш туди води.

Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and its base also of brass, to wash with; and thou shalt place it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, and thou shalt put water in it.

19 І будуть Аарон та сини його мити з неї свої руки та ноги свої.

And from it Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.

20 К оли вони входитимуть до скинії заповіту, то будуть мити в воді, щоб їм не вмерти, або коли будуть відходити до жертівника на служення, щоб спалити огняну жертву для Господа.

When they go into the tabernacle of the testimony, they shall wash with water that they not die, or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn the offering unto the LORD that must be consumed by fire,

21 І будуть вони вмивати руки свої та ноги свої, щоб їм не вмерти. І буде це для них вічна постанова, для нього й для нащадків його на їхні покоління!

they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. And he and his seed shall have it as a perpetual statute throughout their generations.

22 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

¶ The LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,

23 А ти візьми собі найкращих пахощів: самотечної мірри п'ять сотень шеклів, і запашного цинамону половину його: двісті й п'ятдесят, і запашної очеретини двісті й п'ятдесят,

Thou must take unto thee of the principal spices: of excellent myrrh five hundred shekels and of aromatic cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of aromatic calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

24 і касії п'ять сотень шеклів на міру шеклем святині, та гін оливкової оливи.

and of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive one hin;

25 І зробиш її миром святого помазання, масть складену, робота робітника масти. Це буде миро святого помазання.

and thou shalt make of it the oil of the holy anointing, a superior ointment, after the art of the apothecary, which shall be the oil of the holy anointing.

26 І намастиш ним скинію заповіту, і ковчега свідоцтва,

And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the testimony with it and the ark of the testimony

27 і стола та всі речі його, і свічника та речі його, і жертівника кадила,

and the table and all its vessels and the lampstand and its vessels and the altar of incense

28 і жертівника цілопалення та всі речі його, і вмивальницю та підставу її.

and the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels and the laver and its base.

29 І освятиш їх, і стануть вони найсвятішим, усе, що доторкнеться до них, освятиться!

Thus thou shalt consecrate them, and they shall be most holy; whatever touches them shall be sanctified.

30 І помажеш Аарона та синів його, та посвятиш їх на священнослуження Мені.

And thou shalt also anoint Aaron and his sons and sanctify them that they may be my priests.

31 А до синів Ізраїлевих будеш говорити, кажучи: Це буде Мені миро святого помазання на ваші покоління.

And thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, This shall be my oil of the holy anointing throughout your ages.

32 Н а людське тіло не буде воно лите, і за постановою про нього не буде робитися, як воно, святиня воно, воно буде святиня для вас!

It shall not be poured upon man’s flesh; neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it; it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.

33 К ожен, хто сам робитиме масть, як воно, і хто дасть із нього на чужого, той буде витятий із народу свого.

Whoever compounds any like it and puts any of it upon a stranger shall be cut off from his people.

34 І промовив Господь до Мойсея: Візьми собі пахощів: бальзаму, і ониху, і хелбану, пахощів, та чистого ладану, кожне буде в рівній частині.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee aromas, stacte and onycha and aromatic galbanum and pure frankincense, of each in equal weight.

35 І зробиш з цього кадило, масть, робота робітника масти, посолене, чисте, святе.

And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy;

36 І зітреш із неї надрібно, і даси з неї перед обличчям свідоцтва в скинії заповіту, що Я буду являтися тобі там, це буде найсвятіше для вас!

and thou shalt beat some of it very small and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the testimony, where I will testify unto thee of myself. It shall be most holy unto you.

37 А кадило, що зробите, за постановою про нього це зробите собі, воно буде тобі святість для Господа!

And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves another according to the composition thereof: it shall be holiness unto thee for the LORD.

38 К ожен, хто зробить, як воно, щоб нюхати з нього, той буде витятий із народу свого!

Whoever shall make another like unto that to smell it shall be cut off from his people.
