And the Levites: both Jeshua, the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;

and their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

28 ( 10-29) І решта народу, священики, Левити, придверні, співаки, храмові підданці, і кожен, відділений від народів краю до Божого Закону, їхні жінки, їхні сини, та їхні дочки, кожен знаючий та розуміючий,

And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all those that had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge and having understanding;

29 ( 10-30) зміцняють присягу при браттях своїх, при своїх шляхетних, і вступили в клятву та присягу, щоб ходити в Божому Законі, що був даний через Мойсея, Божого раба, і щоб дотримуватися, і щоб виконувати всі заповіді Господа, нашого Бога, і права Його, і постанови Його,

Strengthened with their brethren, their nobles, they came forward in an oath with a curse that they would walk in God’s law, which was given by the hand of Moses, the slave of God, and observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

30 ( 10-31) і що не дамо наших синів народам Краю, а їхніх дочок не візьмемо для наших синів.

and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land nor take their daughters for our sons.

31 ( 10-32) А від народів цього Краю, що спроваджують товари та всяке збіжжя в день суботній на продаж, не візьмемо від них у суботу та в святі дні, і сьомого року понехаємо землю та всякого роду борги.

Likewise that if the peoples of the land bring merchandise or any food on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not take anything from them on the sabbath or on the holy day, and that we would leave the seventh year and remit every debt.

32 ( 10-33) І поставили ми собі за обов'язок, щоб давати нам третину шекля в рік на службу дому нашого Бога,

¶ Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God,

33 ( 10-34) на хліб показний, і на постійний дар, і на постійне цілопалення, на суботи, на молодики, на свята, і на освячені речі, і на жертви за гріх на окуплення за Ізраїля, і на всяку працю дому нашого Бога.

for the showbread and for the continual present and for the continual burnt offering, and of the sabbaths and of the new moons, for the appointed feasts and for the holy things and for the atonement for sin to reconcile Israel and for all the work of the house of our God.

34 ( 10-35) І кинули ми жеребки про пожертву дров, священики, Левити та народ, щоб приносити до дому нашого Бога, за домом наших батьків, на означені часи рік-річно, щоб палити на жертівнику Господа, нашого Бога, як написано в Законі,

And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, regarding the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law.

35 ( 10-36) і щоб приносити первоплоди нашої землі та первоплоди всякого плоду зо всякого дерева рік-річно до Господнього дому,

And that each year we would bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, unto the house of the LORD.

36 ( 10-37) і первороджених синів наших та нашої худоби, як написано в Законі, і первороджених худоби нашої великої та худоби нашої дрібної, щоб приносити до дому нашого Бога до священиків, що служать у домі нашого Бога,

Likewise, the firstborn of our sons and of our beasts, as it is written in the law and that we would bring the firstlings of our cows and of our sheep to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God.

37 ( 10-38) і первопочаток наших діж, і наші приношення, і плід усякого дерева, молоде вино та оливу спровадимо священикам до кімнат дому нашого Бога, а десятину нашої землі Левитам. А вони, Левити, будуть збирати десятину по всіх містах нашої роботи.

And that we would also bring the firstfruits of our dough and of our offerings and the fruit of every tree, of the wine and of the oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tenths of our labours in all the cities.

38 ( 10-39) І буде священик, син Ааронів, із Левитами, коли Левити будуть збирати десятину, і Левити віднесуть десятину від десятини до дому нашого Бога до комір, до скарбниці.

And that the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall offer the tithe of the tithes in the house of our God, to the chambers, in the treasure house.

39 ( 10-40) Бо до комір будуть зносити сини Ізраїлеві та сини Левитів приношення збіжжя, молодого вина та оливи, і там є речі святині, служачі священики, і придверні, і співаки. І ми не опустимо дому нашого Бога!

For the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi shall bring the offering of the grain, of the new wine and the oil, unto the chambers where are the vessels of the sanctuary and the priests that minister and the porters and the singers; and we will not forsake the house of our God.
