1 E l ángel que hablaba conmigo volvió y me despertó, como si me despertara de un sueño,

¶ And the angel that talked with me came again and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

2 y me dijo: «¿Qué ves?» Yo respondí: «Lo que veo es un candelabro, todo él de oro, con un depósito en la parte superior. Por encima del candelabro hay siete lámparas, con siete brazos para cada una de las lámparas que tiene arriba.

and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked and behold a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps upon the lampstand, and seven pipes for the lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

3 J unto al candelabro hay dos olivos, uno de ellos a la derecha del depósito, y el otro a su izquierda.»

and two olive trees over it, one upon the right hand side of the bowl and the other upon the left hand side thereof.

4 S eguí hablando, y le dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «Y esto, mi señor, ¿qué significa?»

So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What is this, my lord?

5 E l ángel que hablaba conmigo me respondió y me dijo: «¿No sabes lo que significa?» Y yo le dije: «No, señor mío.»

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Dost thou not know what this is? And I said, No, my lord.

6 E ntonces el ángel me respondió y me dijo: «Es la palabra del Señor a Zorobabel, que le dice: “Yo no actúo por medio de un ejército, ni por la fuerza, sino por medio de mi espíritu.” »Lo ha dicho el Señor de los ejércitos.

Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, said the LORD of the hosts.

7 ¿ Quién eres tú, monte imponente? ¡Ante Zorobabel quedarás convertido en una llanura! Porque él extraerá la piedra principal entre aclamaciones a su belleza.»

Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt be reduced to a plain; and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

8 L a palabra del Señor vino a mí, y me dijo:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9 « Zorobabel mismo echará los cimientos de esta casa, y con sus propias manos la terminará. Así sabrás que el Señor de los ejércitos me ha enviado a ustedes.

The hands of Zerubbabel shall lay the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of the hosts has sent me unto you.

10 P orque los que se burlaron de los modestos comienzos se alegrarán al ver la plomada en la mano de Zorobabel. Estos son los siete ojos del Señor, los cuales recorren toda la tierra.»

For who has despised the day of small beginnings? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. Those seven are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

11 Y o seguí hablando, y le dije: «Y estos dos olivos a la derecha y a la izquierda del candelabro, ¿qué significan?»

¶ Then I spoke and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right hand side of the lampstand and upon the left hand side thereof?

12 Y volví a hablar, y le dije: «¿Qué significan las dos ramas de olivo, por cuyos brazos de oro se vierte el aceite como oro?»

And I spoke the second time and said unto him, What are these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

13 Y el ángel me respondió: «¿No sabes lo que significan?» Y le dije: «No lo sé, mi señor.»

And he answered me and said, Dost thou not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

14 Y me respondió: «Éstos son los dos ungidos que están delante del Señor de toda la tierra.»

Then he said, These two sons of oil are those that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
