1 A nd the angel who talked with me came again and awakened me, like a man who is wakened out of his sleep.

¶ And the angel that talked with me came again and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

2 A nd said to me, What do you see? I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl on the top of it and its seven lamps on it, and seven pipes to each of the seven lamps which are upon the top of it.

and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked and behold a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps upon the lampstand, and seven pipes for the lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

3 A nd there are two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side of it.

and two olive trees over it, one upon the right hand side of the bowl and the other upon the left hand side thereof.

4 S o I asked the angel who talked with me, What are these, my lord?

So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What is this, my lord?

5 T hen the angel who talked with me answered me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Dost thou not know what this is? And I said, No, my lord.

6 T hen he said to me, This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, said the LORD of the hosts.

7 F or who are you, O great mountain ? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain '> molehill]! And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone with loud shoutings of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it!

Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt be reduced to a plain; and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

8 M oreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9 T he hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house; his hands shall also finish it. Then you shall know (recognize and understand) that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.

The hands of Zerubbabel shall lay the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of the hosts has sent me unto you.

10 W ho despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth.

For who has despised the day of small beginnings? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. Those seven are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

11 T hen I said to him, What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lampstand and on the left side of it?

¶ Then I spoke and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right hand side of the lampstand and upon the left hand side thereof?

12 A nd a second time I said to him, What are these two olive branches which are beside the two golden tubes or spouts by which the golden oil is emptied out?

And I spoke the second time and said unto him, What are these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

13 A nd he answered me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

And he answered me and said, Dost thou not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

14 T hen said he, These are the two sons of oil who stand before the Lord of the whole earth.

Then he said, These two sons of oil are those that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
