1 T hen Bildad the Shuhite answered,
¶ Then Bildad, the Shuhite, answered, and said,
2 D ominion and fear are with; He makes peace in His high places.
Dominion and fear are with God; he makes peace in his high places.
3 I s there any number to His armies? And upon whom does not His light arise?
Is there any number to his armies? And upon whom does his light not arise?
4 H ow then can man be justified and righteous before God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be pure and clean?
How then can man be justified with God? Or how can he that is born of a woman be clean?
5 B ehold, even the moon has no brightness and the stars are not pure in His sight—
Behold, even the moon shall not shine, neither are the stars pure in his sight.
6 H ow much less man, who is a maggot! And a son of man, who is a worm!
How much less man, who is as a worm, and the son of man, who is also a worm?
