1 A nd of the blue and purple and scarlet they made finely wrought garments for serving in the Holy Place; they made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

¶ And of the blue and purple and scarlet, they made the clothing of the ministry, to minister in the sanctuary, and in the same manner they made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

2 A nd Bezalel made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

He also made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

3 A nd they beat the gold into thin sheets and cut it into wires to work into the blue, purple, and scarlet and the fine linen, in skilled design.

And they beat the gold into thin plates and cut it into wires to work it in the blue and in the purple and in the scarlet and in the fine linen, with cunning work.

4 T hey made shoulder pieces for the ephod, joined to it at its two edges.

They made the shoulder pieces for it to couple it together; by the two edges was it coupled together.

5 A nd the skillfully woven band on it, to gird it on, was of the same piece and workmanship with it, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And the special girdle of his ephod, that was over it, was of the same, according to the work thereof: of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen as the LORD had commanded Moses.

6 A nd they prepared the onyx stones enclosed in settings of gold filigree and engraved as signets are engraved with the names of the sons of Israel.

And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in settings of gold, graven, as seals are graven, with the names of the sons of Israel.

7 A nd he put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of memorial or remembrance for the Israelites, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod that they should be stones for a memorial to the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

8 A nd made the breastplate skillfully, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

He also made the pectoral of cunning work, like the work of the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

9 T he breastplate was a span square when doubled over.

It was square; they made the pectoral double; a span was the length thereof and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.

10 A nd they set in it four rows of stones; a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle made the first row;

And they set in it four orders of stones. The order was a ruby, an emerald, and a chrysolite: this was the first order.

11 T he second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;

The second order, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a diamond.

12 T he third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;

The third order, a topaz, a turquoise, and an amethyst.

13 A nd the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper; they were enclosed in settings of gold filigree.

And the fourth order, a tarshish (or beryl), an onyx, and a jasper; they were set and inclosed in their settings of gold.

14 T here were twelve stones with their names according to those of the sons of Israel, engraved like a signet, each with its name, according to the twelve tribes.

The stones were in agreement with the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, in agreement with their names, like the engravings of a seal, each one in agreement with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

15 A nd they made of the breastplate twisted chains like cords, of pure gold.

They also made the small chains upon the pectoral of wreathen work of pure gold.

16 A nd they made two settings of gold filigree and two gold rings which they put on the two ends of the breastplate.

In the same manner they made two settings of gold and two gold rings and put the two rings in the two ends of the pectoral.

17 A nd they put the two twisted cords or woven chains of gold in the two rings on the end edges of the breastplate.

And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in those two rings on the ends of the pectoral.

18 A nd the other two ends of the twisted cords or chains of gold they put on the two settings and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, in front.

And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two settings, which they put on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front part of it.

19 T hey made two rings of gold and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the inside edge of it next to the ephod.

And they made two rings of gold and put them on the two ends of the pectoral upon the border of it, which was on the lower side of the ephod.

20 A nd they made two gold rings and attached them to the two shoulder pieces of the ephod underneath, in front, at its joining above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

And they made two other golden rings and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath toward the front part of it, in the front of its coupling, above the special girdle of the ephod.

21 T hey bound the breastplate by its rings to those of the ephod with a blue lace, that it might lie upon the skillfully woven band of the ephod and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.

And they bound the pectoral by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue lace, that it might be above the special girdle of the ephod and that the pectoral might not be loosed from the ephod, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

22 A nd he made the robe of the ephod of woven work all of blue.

And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue,

23 A nd there was an opening in the middle of the robe like the hole in a coat of mail, with a binding around it, that it should not be torn.

with its collar in the midst of the robe, as the collar of a habergeon, with a band round about the collar that it should not rend.

24 O n the skirts of the robe they made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet and twined linen.

And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple, scarlet, and twined linen.

25 A nd they made bells of pure gold and put between the pomegranates around the skirts of the robe;

They also made the bells of pure gold and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about on the skirts of the robe for ministering, as the Lord commanded Moses.

27 A nd they made the long and sleeved tunics woven of fine linen for Aaron and his sons,

And they made the coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons,

28 A nd the turban, and the ornamental caps of fine linen, and the breeches of fine twined linen,

likewise the mitre of fine linen and the decorations of the tiaras of fine linen and the linen underwear of fine twined linen,

29 T he girdle or sash of fine twined linen, and blue, purple, and scarlet embroidery, as the Lord commanded Moses.

also the girdle of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet of needlework, as the LORD commanded Moses.

30 A nd they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold and wrote upon it an inscription, like the engravings of a signet, holy to the lord.

And they made the open flower, the crown of holiness, of pure gold and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a seal, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD.

31 T hey tied to it a lace of blue to fasten it on the turban above, as the Lord commanded Moses.

And they tied unto it a lace of blue to fasten it over the mitre, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

32 T hus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the Israelites had done.

¶ Thus was all the work of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony finished, and the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so did they.

33 A nd they brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent and all its furnishings, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets or bases;

And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tabernacle and all its furniture, its hooks, its boards, its bars and its pillars and its sockets,

34 A nd the covering of rams’ skins made red, and the covering of dolphin or porpoise skins, and the veil of the screen;

and the covering of rams’ skins dyed red and the covering of badgers’ skins and the veil of the curtain,

35 T he ark of the Testimony, its poles, and the mercy seat;

the ark of the testimony and its staves, and the seat of reconciliation,

36 T he table and all its utensils, and the showbread (bread of the Presence);

the table and all its vessels, and the showbread,

37 T he pure lampstand and its lamps, with the lamps set in order, all its utensils, and the oil for the light;

the pure lampstand with its lamps, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all its vessels and the oil for light,

38 T he golden altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the hanging for the door of the tent;

the golden altar and the anointing oil and the aromatic incense and the hanging for the tabernacle door.

39 T he bronze altar and its grate of bronze, its poles and all its utensils; the laver and its base;

The brasen altar with its grate of brass, its staves, and all its vessels, and the laver and its base.

40 T he hangings of the court, its pillars and sockets or bases, and the screen for the court gate, its cords, and pegs, and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the Tent of Meeting;

The hangings of the court, its pillars and its sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, its cords and its stakes, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tabernacle of the testimony,

41 T he finely worked vestments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons to minister as priests.

the clothing of service for ministry in the sanctuary, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priesthood.

42 A ccording to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the Israelites had done all the work.

According to all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so the sons of Israel made all the work.

43 A nd Moses inspected all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, so had they done it. And Moses blessed them.

And Moses looked upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it; and Moses blessed them.
