1 B ezalel made the ark of acacia wood—two cubits and a half was the length of it, a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it.
¶ Bezaleel also made the ark of cedar wood; two cubits and a half was the length of it, a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it;
2 H e overlaid it with pure gold within and without and made a molding or crown of gold to go around the top of it.
and he covered it with pure gold within and without and made a moulding of gold to it round about.
3 H e cast four rings of gold for its four corners, two rings on either side.
And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it: even two rings upon the one side of it and two rings upon the other side of it.
4 H e made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
He also made the staves of cedar wood and covered them with gold.
5 H e put the poles through the rings at the sides of the ark to carry it.
And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
6 m ade the mercy seat of pure gold, two cubits and a half its length and one cubit and a half its breadth.
He made the seat of reconciliation likewise of pure gold; two cubits and a half was its length, and one cubit and a half its breadth.
7 A nd he made two cherubim of beaten gold; on the two ends of the mercy seat he made them,
He also made the two cherubim of gold, beaten out of one piece he made them, on the two ends of the seat of reconciliation;
8 O ne cherub at one end and one at the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim at its two ends.
one cherub on the end on this side and another cherub on the other end on that side of the seat of reconciliation; he made the cherubim on the two ends thereof.
9 A nd the cherubim spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces to each other, looking down to the mercy seat.
And the cherubim spread out their wings above, covering with their wings the seat of reconciliation, with their faces one to another; the faces of the cherubim were facing the covering.
10 B ezalel made the table of acacia wood; it was two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high.
¶ And he made the table of cedar wood; two cubits was the length thereof and a cubit the breadth thereof and a cubit and a half the height thereof;
11 H e overlaid it with pure gold and made a molding of gold around its top.
and he covered it with pure gold and made it a moulding of gold round about.
12 A nd he made a border around it a handbreadth wide, and a molding of gold around the border.
He also made it a border of a handbreadth round about and made a moulding of gold for the border thereof round about.
13 A nd he cast for it four rings of gold and fastened the rings on the four corners that were at its four legs.
And he cast for it four rings of gold and put the rings upon the four corners that correspond to the four feet thereof.
14 C lose to the border were the rings, the places for the poles to pass through to carry the table.
Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
15 m ade the poles of acacia wood to carry the table and overlaid them with gold.
And he made the staves of cedar wood and covered them with gold, to bear the table.
16 H e made of pure gold the vessels which were to be on the table, its plates and dishes, its bowls and flagons for pouring.
He also made the vessels which were upon the table, its dishes, its spoons, its bowls, and its covers to cover the bread, of pure gold.
17 A nd he made the lampstand of pure gold; its base and shaft were made of hammered work; its cups, its knobs, and its flowers were of one piece with it.
He made the lampstand likewise of pure gold; of beaten work he made the lampstand, its shaft and its branch, its bowls, its knops, and its flowers were of the same.
18 T here were six branches going out of the sides of the lampstand, three branches out of one side of it and three branches out of the other side of it;
Out of the sides thereof went six branches, three branches out of one side of the lampstand and three branches out of the other side of the lampstand;
19 T hree cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, each with a knob and a flower, and three cups made like almond blossoms in the branch, each with a knob and a flower; and so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.
in one branch there were three bowls made after the fashion of almonds, a knop and a flower; and in the other branch there were three bowls made like almonds, a knop and a flower, so throughout the six branches going out of the lampstand.
20 O n the lampstand were four cups made like almond blossoms, with knobs and flowers.
And in the lampstand were four bowls made like almonds, their knops, and their flowers,
21 A nd a knob under each pair of branches, of one piece with the lampstand, for the six branches going out of it.
and a knop under the two branches of the same and another knop under two branches of the same and a knop under the two other branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
22 T heir knobs and their branches were of one piece with it, all of it hammered work of pure gold.
Their knops and their branches were of the same; all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
23 A nd he made of pure gold its seven lamps, its snuffers, and its ashtrays.
He made likewise its seven lamps and its snuffers and its snuff dishes of pure gold.
24 O f a talent of pure gold he made the lampstand and all its utensils.
Of a talent of pure gold he made it and all its vessels.
25 A nd made the incense altar of acacia wood; its top was a cubit square and it was two cubits high; the horns were one piece with it.
¶ He also made the altar of incense of cedar wood: the length of it was a cubit and the breadth of it a cubit; it was square; and two cubits was the height of it; its horns were of the same piece.
26 H e overlaid it with pure gold, its top, its sides round about, and its horns; also he made a rim around it of gold.
And he covered it with pure gold, its top and its sides round about and its horns; and he made it a moulding of gold round about.
27 A nd he made two rings of gold for it under its rim, on its two opposite sides, as places for the poles to carry it.
He also made two rings of gold for it under the moulding thereof, by the two corners of it, upon its two sides, to be places for the staves to bear it with.
28 A nd he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
And he made the staves of cedar wood and covered them with gold.
29 H e also made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense, after the perfumer’s art.
He made likewise the oil of the holy anointing and the pure aromatic incense, according to the work of the apothecary.
