1 T he Lord said to Moses,

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 S ay to the Israelites, The set feasts or appointed seasons of the Lord which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, even My set feasts, are these:

Speak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, The feasts of the LORD, unto which ye shall make a general convocation of all the people, these shall be my feasts.

3 S ix days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation or assembly by summons. You shall do no work on that day; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day shall be a sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein; it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

4 T hese are the set feasts or appointed seasons of the Lord, holy convocations you shall proclaim at their stated times:

¶ These are the feasts of the LORD, the holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their appointed times.

5 O n the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the Lord’s Passover.

On the fourteenth of the first month between the two evenings is the LORD’s passover.

6 O n the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.

And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD; seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

7 O n the first day you shall have a holy “calling together;” you shall do no servile or laborious work on that day.

The first day ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work therein.

8 B ut you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord for seven days; on the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall do no servile or laborious work on that day.

And ye shall offer an offering on fire unto the LORD seven days; the seventh day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work therein.

9 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

10 T ell the Israelites, When you have come into the land I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.

Speak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have entered into the land which I give unto you and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest;

11 A nd he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, that you may be accepted; on the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

and he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD that ye shall be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

12 Y ou shall offer on the day when you wave the sheaf a male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering to the Lord.

And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf a he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

13 I ts cereal offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord for a sweet, pleasing, and satisfying fragrance; and the drink offering of it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin.

And the present thereof shall be two-tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil in an offering on fire unto the LORD for an acceptable aroma; and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

14 A nd you shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor green ears, until this same day when you have brought the offering of your God; it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your houses.

And ye shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor green ears until this same day until ye have offered the offering of your God; it shall be a statute for ever throughout your ages in all your dwellings.

15 A nd you shall count from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, seven Sabbaths; shall they be.

¶ And ye shall count unto you from the day after the sabbath, from the day that ye offered the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete;

16 C ount fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall present a cereal offering of new grain to the Lord.

unto the day after the seventh sabbath, ye shall number fifty days; then ye shall offer a new present unto the LORD.

17 Y ou shall bring from your dwellings two loaves of bread to be waved, made from two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven, for firstfruits to the Lord.

Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two-tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven, they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

18 A nd you shall offer with the bread seven lambs, a year old and without blemish, and one young bull and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to the Lord, with their cereal offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire, of a sweet and satisfying fragrance to the Lord.

And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year and one young bullock and two rams; they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their presents and their drink offerings in an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.

19 T hen you shall sacrifice one he-goat for a sin offering and two he-lambs, a year old, for a sacrifice of peace offering.

Then ye shall also sacrifice one he goat as the sin and two lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of peace.

20 T he priest shall wave the two lambs, together with the bread of the firstfruits, for a wave offering before the Lord. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.

And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs; they shall be holiness of the LORD for the priest.

21 Y ou shall make proclamation the same day, summoning a holy assembly; you shall do no servile work that day. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

And ye shall be summoned on that same day; it shall be a holy convocation unto you; ye shall do no servile work: a perpetual statute in all your dwellings throughout your ages.

22 A nd when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am the Lord your God.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest; thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I AM your God.

23 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

24 S ay to the Israelites, On the first day of the seventh month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial day announced by blowing of trumpets, a holy assembly.

Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month in the first day of the month, ye shall have a rest, an alarm for a reminder, and a holy convocation.

25 Y ou shall do no servile work on it, but you shall present an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Ye shall do no servile work therein; but ye shall offer an offering on fire unto the LORD.

26 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

27 A lso the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy assembly, and you shall afflict yourselves and present an offering made by fire to the Lord.

But the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the day of reconciliations; it shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls and offer an offering made on fire unto the LORD.

28 A nd you shall do no work on this day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.

And ye shall do no work in this same day; for it is a day of reconciliations, to reconcile you before the LORD your God.

29 F or whoever is not afflicted on this day shall be cut off from among his people.

For every person that shall not afflict themselves in that same day, shall be cut off from among his people.

30 A nd whoever does any work on that same day I will destroy from among his people.

And any person that does any work in that same day, the same person will I destroy from among his people.

31 Y ou shall do no kind of work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Ye shall do no manner of work; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout your ages in all your dwellings.

32 I t shall be to you a sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month from evening to evening you shall keep your sabbath.

It shall be unto you a sabbath of sabbaths, and ye shall afflict your souls, beginning in the ninth day of the month in the evening, from evening unto evening, shall ye rest on your sabbath.

33 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

34 S ay to the Israelites, The fifteenth day of this seventh month, and for seven days, is the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths to the Lord.

Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles unto the LORD for seven days.

35 O n the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work on that day.

The first day shall be a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

36 F or seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord; on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation and you shall present an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no laborious work on that day.

Seven days ye shall offer an offering on fire unto the LORD; the eighth day ye shall have a holy convocation and offer an offering on fire unto the LORD; it is a feast; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

37 T hese are the set feasts or appointed seasons of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to present an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a cereal offering, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its own day.

These are the feasts of the LORD, unto which ye shall be summoned: holy convocations to offer an offering on fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering and a present, a sacrifice and drink offerings, every thing in its proper time;

38 T his is in addition to the Sabbaths of the Lord and besides your gifts and all your vowed offerings and all your freewill offerings which you give to the Lord.

in addition the sabbaths of the LORD and in addition to your gifts and in addition to all your vows, and in addition to all your freewill offerings, which ye shall give unto the LORD.

39 A lso on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the Lord for seven days, the first day and the eighth day each a Sabbath.

But in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days; the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall also be a sabbath.

40 A nd on the first day you shall take the fruit of pleasing trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick (leafy) trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

And on the first day ye shall take branches with fruit of a beautiful tree, palm branches and the boughs of thick trees and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

41 Y ou shall keep it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year, a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month.

And ye shall keep this feast unto the LORD for seven days each year. It shall be a perpetual statute for your ages; ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

42 Y ou shall dwell in booths (shelters) for seven days: All native Israelites shall dwell in booths,

Ye shall dwell in tabernacles seven days; all that are natural of Israel shall dwell in booths,

43 T hat your generations may know that I made the Israelites dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

that your descendants may know that I made the sons of Israel to dwell in tabernacles when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I AM your God.

44 T hus Moses declared to the Israelites the set or appointed feasts of the Lord.

Thus Moses declared unto the sons of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
