1 B ezalel and Aholiab and every wisehearted man in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work for the service of the sanctuary shall work according to all that the Lord has commanded.
¶ Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab and every wise hearted man unto whom the LORD gave wisdom and intelligence to know how to do all the work of the service of the sanctuary, all the things that the LORD had commanded.
2 A nd Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab and every able and wisehearted man in whose mind the Lord had put wisdom and ability, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work;
And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab and every wise hearted man in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom and every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it;
3 A nd they received from Moses all the freewill offerings which the Israelites had brought for doing the work of the sanctuary, to prepare it for service. And they continued to bring him freewill offerings every morning.
and they took from the presence of Moses all the offering which the sons of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it with. And they brought yet unto him free will offerings every morning.
4 A nd all the wise and able men who were doing the work on the sanctuary came, every man from the work he was doing,
So much that all the wise men that wrought all the work of the sanctuary came every man from his work which they made,
5 A nd they said to Moses, The people bring much more than enough for doing the work which the Lord commanded to do.
and they spoke with Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the work of the ministry which the LORD commanded to make.
6 S o Moses commanded and it was proclaimed in all the camp, Let no man or woman do anything more for the sanctuary offering. So the people were restrained from bringing,

7 F or the stuff they had was sufficient to do all the work and more.
for they had abundant material for all the work; more than enough to make it with.
8 A nd all the able and wisehearted men among them who did the work on the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue, purple, and scarlet, with cherubim skillfully worked on them.
¶ And everyone with a wise heart among those that wrought the work made the tabernacle of ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet, which they made of cunning work, with cherubim.
9 T he length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits and its breadth four cubits; all the curtains were one size.
The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; the curtains were all of one size.
10 c oupled five curtains one to another and the other five curtains he coupled one to another.
And he coupled the five curtains one unto another; and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.
11 A nd he made loops of blue on the outer edge of the last curtain in the first set; this he did also on the inner edge of the first curtain in the second set.
And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain in the border in the coupling; likewise he made in the border of the second curtain in the coupling.
12 F ifty loops he made in the one curtain and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which was the second set; the loops were opposite one another.
Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the second curtain in the border in the coupling, the loops in front of the others.
13 A nd he made fifty clasps of gold and coupled the curtains together with the clasps so that the tabernacle became one unit.
And he made fifty hooks of gold and coupled the curtains one unto another with the hooks, so it became one tabernacle.
14 A nd he made eleven curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle.
¶ Likewise he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the tabernacle; he made eleven curtains.
15 T he length of one curtain was thirty cubits and four cubits was the breadth; the eleven curtains were of equal size.
The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain; the eleven curtains were of one size.
16 A nd he coupled five curtains by themselves and the other six curtains by themselves.
And he coupled five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves.
17 A nd he made fifty loops on the outmost edge of the curtain to be coupled and fifty loops he made on the inner edge of the second curtain to be coupled.
And he made fifty loops upon the edge of the uttermost curtain in the coupling, and he made another fifty loops upon the edge of the other curtain in the coupling.
18 H e made fifty clasps of bronze to couple the tent together into one whole.
And he also made fifty hooks of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.
19 H e made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins tanned red, and above it a covering of dolphin or porpoise skins.
And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and another covering of badgers’ skins above that.
20 H e made boards of acacia wood for the upright framework of the tabernacle.
And he made the boards for the tabernacle of cedar wood, standing up.
21 T he length of a board was ten cubits and the breadth one cubit and a half.

22 E ach board had two tenons (projections) to fit into a mortise to form a clutch; he did this for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Each board had two tenons, equally distant one from another; thus did he make all the boards of the tabernacle.
23 A nd he made thus the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side,
He made, therefore, the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side towards the Negev.
24 A nd he made under the twenty boards forty sockets or bases of silver, two sockets under one board for its two tenons or hands, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.
He also made the forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.
25 F or the other side of the tabernacle, the north side, he made twenty boards
And for the other side of the tabernacle, on the side of the Aquilon, he made twenty boards,
26 A nd their forty sockets or bases of silver, two sockets under each board.
with their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
27 A nd for the rear or west side of the tabernacle he made six boards.
And for the westward side of the tabernacle he made six boards.
28 A nd two boards he made for each corner of the tabernacle in the rear.
And he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides,
29 T hey were separate below but linked together at the top with one ring; thus he made both of them in both corners.
which were coupled beneath and likewise coupled together above to a ring; thus he did to both of them in both the corners.
30 T here were eight boards with sixteen sockets or bases of silver, and under each board two sockets.
There were, therefore, eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.
31 H e made bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
And he also made bars of cedar wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
32 A nd five bars for the boards of its other side, and five bars for the boards at the rear or west side.
and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the westward side.
33 A nd he made the middle bar pass through halfway up the boards from one end to the other.
And he made the middle bar to pass through the boards from the one end to the other.
34 H e overlaid the boards and the bars with gold and made their rings of gold as places for the bars.
And he covered the boards with gold and made their rings of gold for the bars to pass through and covered the bars with gold also.
35 A nd he made the veil of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, with cherubim skillfully worked.
¶ Likewise he made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen, which he made with cherubim of cunning work.
36 F or he made four pillars of acacia and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold, and he cast for them four sockets or bases of silver.
And for it he made four pillars of cedar and covered them with gold; their capitals were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.
37 A nd he made a screen for the tent door of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, embroidered,
Likewise he made the veil for the tabernacle door of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen, of needlework,
38 A nd he made the five pillars of it with their hooks, and overlaid their ornamental tops and joinings with gold, but their five sockets were of bronze.
and its five pillars with their capitals; and he covered their heads and their fillets with gold; and their five sockets he made of brass.
