1 O ra Betsaleel e Oholiab e tutti gli uomini abili, nei quali l'Eterno ha messo sapienza e intelligenza per saper eseguire tutti i lavori per il servizio del santuario, faranno secondo tutto ciò che l'Eterno ha ordinato».

¶ Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab and every wise hearted man unto whom the LORD gave wisdom and intelligence to know how to do all the work of the service of the sanctuary, all the things that the LORD had commanded.

2 M osè chiamò dunque Betsaleel e Oholiab e tutti gli uomini saggi di cuore nei quali l'Eterno aveva messo sapienza, tutti quelli che erano mossi dal cuore ad applicarsi al lavoro per eseguirlo.

And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab and every wise hearted man in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom and every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it;

3 E d essi ricevettero da Mosè tutte le offerte recate dai figli d'Israele per i lavori destinati alla costruzione del santuario, per eseguirli. Ma ogni mattina i figli d'Israele continuavano a portare a Mosè delle offerte volontarie.

and they took from the presence of Moses all the offering which the sons of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it with. And they brought yet unto him free will offerings every morning.

4 A llora tutti gli uomini abili che facevano lavori d'ogni genere nel santuario, lasciato ognuno il lavoro che faceva vennero

So much that all the wise men that wrought all the work of the sanctuary came every man from his work which they made,

5 e parlarono a Mosè, dicendo: «Il popolo porta molto piú di quel che necessita per eseguire i lavori che l'Eterno ha comandato di fare».

and they spoke with Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the work of the ministry which the LORD commanded to make.

6 A llora Mosè diede quest'ordine che fu proclamato per l'accampamento, dicendo: «Nè uomo nè donna faccia piú alcun'altra offerta per il santuario». Così si impedì al popolo di portare altro.

And Moses commanded it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing,

7 P oiché il materiale che avevano era sufficiente per tutto il lavoro che dovevano fare e ne avanzava.

for they had abundant material for all the work; more than enough to make it with.

8 T utti gli uomini abili, fra quelli che lavoravano alla costruzione del tabernacolo, fecero dieci teli di lino fino ritorto e di filo color violaceo, porporino e scarlatto; egli li fece con dei cherubini artisticamente lavorati.

¶ And everyone with a wise heart among those that wrought the work made the tabernacle of ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet, which they made of cunning work, with cherubim.

9 L a lunghezza di ogni telo era di ventotto cubiti e la larghezza di quattro cubiti; i teli avevano tutti la stessa misura.

The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; the curtains were all of one size.

10 E gli unì assieme cinque teli, e unì pure assieme gli altri cinque teli.

And he coupled the five curtains one unto another; and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.

11 E fece degli occhielli di color violaceo sull'orlo del telo esterno della prima serie di teli; fece lo stesso all'orlo del telo esterno della seconda serie.

And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain in the border in the coupling; likewise he made in the border of the second curtain in the coupling.

12 E gli fece cinquanta occhielli sul primo telo e fece pure cinquanta occhielli sull'orlo del telo esterno della seconda serie; gli occhielli corrispondevano l'uno all'altro.

Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the second curtain in the border in the coupling, the loops in front of the others.

13 F ece anche cinquanta fermagli d'oro e unì i teli l'uno all'altro mediante i fermagli; così il tabernacolo formò un tutt'uno.

And he made fifty hooks of gold and coupled the curtains one unto another with the hooks, so it became one tabernacle.

14 E gli fece inoltre dei teli di pelo di capra, per servire da tenda sopra il tabernacolo; di questi teli ne fece undici.

¶ Likewise he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the tabernacle; he made eleven curtains.

15 L a lunghezza di ogni telo era di trenta cubiti, e la larghezza di quattro cubiti; gli undici teli avevano la stessa misura.

The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain; the eleven curtains were of one size.

16 U nì cinque teli da una parte e sei teli dall'altra.

And he coupled five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves.

17 F ece inoltre cinquanta occhielli sull'orlo del telo esterno della prima serie di teli e cinquanta occhielli sull'orlo del telo esterno della seconda serie.

And he made fifty loops upon the edge of the uttermost curtain in the coupling, and he made another fifty loops upon the edge of the other curtain in the coupling.

18 E fece cinquanta fermagli di bronzo per unire assieme la tenda, perché formasse un tutt'uno.

And he also made fifty hooks of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

19 F ece pure per la tenda una copertura di pelli di montone tinte di rosso, e sopra questa una copertura di pelli di tasso.

And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and another covering of badgers’ skins above that.

20 P oi fece per il tabernacolo le assi di legno di acacia, messe per ritto.

And he made the boards for the tabernacle of cedar wood, standing up.

21 L a lunghezza di un'asse era di dieci cubiti e la sua larghezza di un cubito e mezzo.

The length of each board was ten cubits, and the breadth one cubit and a half.

22 O gni asse aveva due incastri per unire un'asse all'altra; così fece per tutte le assi del tabernacolo.

Each board had two tenons, equally distant one from another; thus did he make all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 g li fece quindi le assi per il tabernacolo: venti assi per il lato sud;

He made, therefore, the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side towards the Negev.

24 e fece quaranta basi d'argento sotto le venti assi: due basi sotto ciascun'asse per i suoi due incastri.

He also made the forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.

25 E per il secondo lato del tabernacolo, il lato nord, fece venti assi,

And for the other side of the tabernacle, on the side of the Aquilon, he made twenty boards,

26 c on le loro quaranta basi d'argento, due basi sotto ciascun'asse.

with their forty sockets of silver: two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

27 P er la parte posteriore del tabernacolo, verso ovest, egli fece sei assi.

And for the westward side of the tabernacle he made six boards.

28 F ece pure due assi per i due angoli posteriori del tabernacolo.

And he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides,

29 E sse erano appaiate in basso ed erano unite assieme in alto con un anello. Così fece per ambedue le assi, che erano ai due angoli.

which were coupled beneath and likewise coupled together above to a ring; thus he did to both of them in both the corners.

30 V i erano dunque otto assi, con le loro basi d'argento: sedici basi, due basi sotto ciascun'asse.

There were, therefore, eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.

31 F ece inoltre delle traverse di legno di acacia: cinque per le assi di un lato del tabernacolo,

And he also made bars of cedar wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 c inque traverse per le assi dell'altro lato del tabernacolo, e cinque traverse per le assi della parte posteriore del tabernacolo, a ovest.

and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the westward side.

33 F ece quindi passare la traversa di centro in mezzo alle assi, da una parte all'altra.

And he made the middle bar to pass through the boards from the one end to the other.

34 R ivestì poi le assi d'oro e fece d'oro i loro anelli per i quali dovevano passare le traverse, e rivestì le traverse d'oro.

And he covered the boards with gold and made their rings of gold for the bars to pass through and covered the bars with gold also.

35 F ece pure il velo di filo violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, e di lino fino ritorto con dei cherubini artisticamente lavorati;

¶ Likewise he made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen, which he made with cherubim of cunning work.

36 f ece per esso quattro colonne di acacia, con i loro uncini d'oro; e fuse per le colonne quattro basi d'argento.

And for it he made four pillars of cedar and covered them with gold; their capitals were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

37 F ece anche per l'ingresso della tenda una cortina di filo violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, e di lino fino ritorto il lavoro di un ricamatore.

Likewise he made the veil for the tabernacle door of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen, of needlework,

38 F ece inoltre le sue cinque colonne coi loro uncini e rivestì d'oro i loro capitelli e le loro assi; ma le loro cinque basi erano di bronzo.

and its five pillars with their capitals; and he covered their heads and their fillets with gold; and their five sockets he made of brass.
