1 P oi l'Eterno disse ad Aaronne: «Tu, i tuoi figli e la casa di tuo padre con te, porterete il peso delle iniquità commesse contro il santuario, e tu e i tuoi figli porterete il peso delle iniquità commesse nell'esercizio del vostro sacerdozio.

¶ And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father’s house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

2 F arai pure avvicinare con te i tuoi fratelli, la tribù di Levi, la tribù di tuo padre, perché si uniscano a te e ti servano, quando tu e i tuoi figli con te sarete davanti alla tenda della testimonianza.

And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee and serve thee; but thou and thy sons with thee shall serve before the tabernacle of the testimony.

3 E ssi presteranno servizio a te e svolgeranno tutte le mansioni della tenda; ma non si avvicineranno agli arredi del santuario e all'altare, altrimenti morirete entrambi, essi con te.

And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle; only they shall not come near the holy vessels or the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.

4 E ssi si uniranno a te e svolgeranno le mansioni della tenda di convegno per tutto il lavoro della tenda ma nessun estraneo si avvicinerà a voi.

And they shall join themselves unto thee and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony in all the service of the tabernacle; and no stranger shall come near unto you.

5 V oi svolgerete dunque il servizio del santuario e dell'altare, affinché non vi sia più ira contro i figli d'Israele.

And ye shall have the charge of the sanctuary and the charge of the altar, that there be no more wrath upon the sons of Israel.

6 E cco, io stesso ho preso i vostri fratelli, i Leviti, dal mezzo dei figli d'Israele; essi sono dati in dono dall'Eterno a voi per svolgere il servizio della tenda di convegno.

For behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the sons of Israel, given unto you as a gift of the LORD, to serve in the ministry of the tabernacle of the testimony.

7 M a tu e i tuoi figli con te eserciterete il vostro sacerdozio in tutto ciò che riguarda l'altare e che è di là dal velo; e presterete il vostro servizio. lo vi do il vostro sacerdozio come un dono per servizio, ma l'estraneo che si avvicinerà sarà messo a morte».

Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priesthood for every thing of the altar and within the veil, and ye shall minister; for I have given the service of your priesthood as a gift, and the stranger that comes near shall die.

8 L 'Eterno disse ancora ad Aaronne: «Ecco, io vi affido pure la cura delle mie offerte elevate, di tutte le cose consacrate dei Figli d'Israele; le do a te e ai tuoi figli, come uno statuto perpetuo a motivo della vostra unzione.

¶ The LORD spoke further unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of my offerings; all the dedicated things of the sons of Israel I have given unto thee by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by a perpetual statute.

9 Q uesto ti apparterrà fra le cose santissime non consumate dal fuoco: tutte le loro offerte e cioè ogni oblazione di cibo, ogni sacrificio per il peccato e ogni sacrificio per la trasgressione che mi presenteranno; sono cose santissime che apparterranno a te e ai tuoi figli.

This shall be thine of the holy things, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs, every present of theirs, and every offering that represents their sin, and every offering that represents their guilt, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.

10 L e mangerai in luogo santissimo; ne mangerà ogni maschio; saranno per te cose sante.

In the sanctuary shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it; it shall be holy unto thee.

11 Q uesto ancora ti apparterrà: i doni che i figli d'Israele presenteranno per elevazione e tutte le loro offerte agitate; io le do a te, ai tuoi figli e alle tue figlie con te, come statuto perpetuo. Chiunque è puro in casa tua ne potrà mangiare.

This also shall be thine: the heave offering of their gifts. All the wave offerings of the sons of Israel, I have given them unto thee and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever; everyone that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

12 T utto il meglio dell'olio e tutto il meglio del mosto e del grano, le loro primizie che danno all'Eterno le do a te.

All the best of the oil and all the best of the wine and of the wheat, the firstfruits of this, which they shall present unto the LORD, this have I given thee.

13 L e primizie di tutto ciò che produce la loro terra e che essi presentano all'Eterno saranno tue. Chiunque è puro in casa tua ne potrà mangiare.

The firstfruits of theirs of all the things of the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; everyone that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

14 T utto ciò che è consacrato in Israele sarà tuo.

Every anathema in Israel shall be thine.

15 O gni primo parto di ogni carne che essi offriranno all'Eterno, tanto degli uomini come degli animali, sarà tuo; ma certamente riscatterai il primogenito dell'uomo e riscatterai il primo parto degli animali impuri.

Every thing that opens the womb in all flesh, which they shall offer unto the LORD, whether it is of men or animals, shall be thine; nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely ransom, and the firstborn of unclean animals shalt thou ransom.

16 E quelli che devono essere riscattati li riscatterai all'età di un mese, secondo il tuo estimo, per cinque sicli d'argento, secondo il siclo del santuario, che è di venti ghere.

And from a month old shalt thou effect their ransom, a ransom according to thine estimation, for the price of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.

17 M a non riscatterai il primogenito della vacca né il primogenito della pecora né il primogenito della capra; sono cosa sacra; spruzzerai il loro sangue sull'altare e farai fumare il loro grasso come sacrificio fatto col fuoco, in odore soave all'Eterno.

But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not ransom; they are sanctified; thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar and shalt burn their fat for an offering on fire, for an acceptable savour unto the LORD.

18 L a loro carne sarà tua; sarà tua come il petto dell'offerta agitata e come la coscia destra.

And the flesh shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder shall be thine.

19 l o do a te, ai tuoi figli e alle tue figlie con te, come statuto perpetuo, tutte le offerte elevate di cose sante che i figli d'Israele presentano all'Eterno. E un patto di sale e perpetuo davanti all'Eterno, per te e per la tua progenie con te».

All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the sons of Israel offer unto the LORD, I have given for thee and for thy sons and for thy daughters with thee, by a perpetual statute; it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD for thee and for thy seed with thee.

20 L 'Eterno disse ancora ad Aaronne: «Tu non avrai alcuna eredità nel loro paese e non ci sarà parte per te in mezzo a loro; io sono la tua parte e la tua eredità in mezzo ai figli d'Israele.

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them. I am thy part and thine inheritance among the sons of Israel.

21 E cco, ai figli di Levi io do come eredità tutte le decime in Israele in cambio del servizio che svolgono, il servizio della tenda di convegno.

And, behold, I have given the sons of Levi all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their ministry because they serve in the ministry of the tabernacle of the testimony.

22 E i figli d'Israele non si avvicineranno più alla tenda di convegno, altrimenti si caricherebbero di un peccato e morirebbero.

Neither must the sons of Israel from now on come near the tabernacle of the testimony lest they bear sin and die because of it.

23 M a il servizio della tenda di convegno lo faranno soltanto i Leviti; ed essi porteranno il peso delle proprie iniquità; sarà uno statuto perpetuo per tutte le vostre generazioni; e non avranno alcuna eredità tra i figli d'Israele;

But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the testimony, and they shall bear their iniquity by a perpetual statute throughout your ages, and they shall not possess an inheritance among the sons of Israel.

24 P oiché io do come eredità ai Leviti le decime che i figli d'Israele presenteranno all'Eterno come offerta elevata; per questo ho detto loro: "Non avranno alcuna eredità tra i figli d'Israele"».

For unto the Levites I have given the tithes of the sons of Israel as inheritance, which they shall offer unto the LORD as offerings; therefore, I have said unto them, Among the sons of Israel they shall possess no inheritance.

25 L 'Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

26 « Parla ai Leviti e di' loro: Quando prenderete dai figli d'Israele le decime che io vi do da parte loro come vostra eredità, ne farete un'offerta elevata all'Eterno, una decima della decima;

Thus shalt thou speak unto the Levites and say unto them, When ye take the tithes from the sons of Israel which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall present a tithe of the tithes as an offering unto the LORD.

27 e la vostra offerta elevata vi sarà contata come il grano ce viene dall'aia e come la pienezza dello strettoio.

And ye shall count your offering as though it were the grain of the threshingfloor and as the fullness of the winepress.

28 C osì anche voi farete un'offerta elevata all'Eterno da tutte le decime che riceverete dai figli d'Israele, e di quelle darete l'offerta elevata dell'Eterno al sacerdote Aaronne.

Thus ye also shall offer an offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye shall have received of the sons of Israel; and ye shall give of them an offering unto the LORD, to Aaron the priest.

29 D a tutte le cose a voi donate ogni offerta elevata che spetta all'Eterno, di tutto il meglio di esse offrirete la parte consacrata.

Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every offering unto the LORD, of all the best thereof ye shall offer the portion that is to be dedicated.

30 P erciò dirai loro: "Quando avete offerto il meglio, quel che rimane sarà contato ai Leviti come il prodotto dell'aia e come il prodotto dello strettoio.

Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye offer the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the fruit of the threshingfloor and as the fruit of the winepress.

31 L o potrete mangiare in qualunque luogo, voi e le vostre famiglie perché è il vostro salario in cambio del vostro servizio nella tenda di convegno.

And ye shall eat it in any place, ye and your family; for it is your reward for your ministry in the tabernacle of the testimony.

32 C osì non sarete colpevoli di alcun peccato, perché ne avete offerto il meglio; ma non profanerete le cose sante dei figli d'Israele altrimenti morirete"».

And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have offered from it the best of it; and ye shall not pollute the holy things of the sons of Israel, and ye shall not die.
