1 ¡ El Señor reina! ¡Que se regocije la tierra! ¡Que se alegren las muchas costas!

¶ The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2 ¡ El Señor está rodeado de densas nubes! ¡Su trono se basa en la justicia y el derecho!

Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the seat of his throne.

3 ¡ Un fuego avanza delante de él, que consumirá a los enemigos que lo rodean!

A fire shall go before him and burn up his enemies round about.

4 ¡ Sus relámpagos alumbran el mundo! ¡Al verlos, la tierra se estremece!

His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw and trembled.

5 ¡ En presencia del Señor, en presencia del Señor de toda la tierra, los montes se derriten como cera!

The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

6 L os cielos anuncian su justicia; todos los pueblos contemplan su gloria.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.

7 ¡ Avergüéncense todos ustedes, que rinden culto a las imágenes de talla! ¡Y ustedes, que se jactan de los ídolos! ¡Póstrense ante él todos los dioses!

Let all those that serve graven images be confounded, those that boast of idols; worship him, all ye gods.

8 S ión lo supo, Señor, y se regocijó; las ciudades de Judá se alegraron por tus juicios,

¶ Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

9 p orque tú, Señor, estás por encima de toda la tierra; ¡estás por encima de todos los dioses!

For thou, O LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

10 U stedes, los que aman al Señor, ¡aborrezcan la maldad! El Señor protege la vida de sus fieles, y los libra del poder de los impíos.

Ye that love the LORD are to hate evil; he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 L a luz se difunde sobre los justos, y alegra a los rectos de corazón.

Light is sown for the righteous and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 U stedes, los justos, ¡alégrense en el Señor y alaben su santo nombre!

Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
