And the sons of Hassenaah built the fish gate; they laid its beams and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

4 C ontaron con la ayuda de Meremot, el hijo de Urías y nieto de Cos; de Mesulán, el hijo de Berequías y nieto de Mesezabel; y de Sadoc hijo de Baná.

And next to them Meremoth, the son of Urijah, the son of Koz restored. And next to them Meshullam, the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel restored. And next to them Zadok, the son of Baana, restored.

5 A su lado estaban los tecoítas, aunque en las obras del Señor no se contó con la ayuda de los jefes del pueblo.

And next to them the Tekoites restored; but their nobles did not put their necks to the work of their Lord.

6 » La puerta Vieja fue restaurada por Joyadá hijo de Paseaj y por Mesulán hijo de Besodías, quienes recubrieron de madera las puertas y les pusieron cerraduras y cerrojos.

Moreover, the old gate was restored by Jehoiada, the son of Paseah, and Meshullam, the son of Besodeiah; they laid its beams and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

7 A su lado estaban Melatías el gabaonita y Yadón el meronotita, que venían de Gabaón y de Mispá, pueblos que estaban bajo el dominio del gobernador de la ribera occidental del río Éufrates.

And next to them restored Melatiah, the Gibeonite, and Jadon, the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, on behalf of the captain of the king over the land on this side the river.

8 T ambién los ayudaron Uziel hijo de Jaraías, que sabía trabajar la plata, y el perfumista Jananías, que repararon la muralla de Jerusalén hasta su parte ancha;

Next to them Uzziel, the son of Harhaiah, of the refiners restored. Next unto him Hananiah, the son of one of the apothecaries, also restored, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.

9 y Refaías hijo de Jur, que gobernaba la mitad de la región de Jerusalén.

And next unto them Rephaiah, the son of Hur, prince of the half part of Jerusalem, restored.

10 F rente a su casa se les unió Jedaías hijo de Jarumaf, y también Jatús hijo de Jasabnías.

And next unto them, Jedaiah, the son of Harumaph restored, and over against his house. And next unto him Hattush, the son of Hashabniah, restored.

11 M alquías hijo de Jarín y Jasub hijo de Pajat Moab restauraron otro tramo de la muralla y de la torre de los Hornos.

Malchijah, the son of Harim, and Hashub, the son of Pahathmoab, restored the other piece and the tower of the furnaces.

12 A ellos se les unieron Salún hijo de Halojés, que era gobernador de la mitad de la región de Jerusalén, y con sus hijas.

And next to them restored Shallum, the son of Halohesh, prince of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

13 » Janún y los habitantes de Zanoaj restauraron la puerta del Valle; reconstruyeron mil codos de la muralla, hasta la puerta del Basurero, y a las puertas les pusieron cerraduras y cerrojos.

The valley gate was restored by Hanun with the inhabitants of Zanoah; they rebuilt it and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall unto the dung gate.

14 M alquías hijo de Recab, que gobernaba la provincia de Bet Haqueren, reconstruyó la puerta del Basurero y otras puertas, y les puso cerraduras y cerrojos.

And Malchiah, the son of Rechab, prince of the province of Bethhaccerem, restored the dung gate; he built it and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.

15 » La puerta de la Fuente fue reconstruida por Salún hijo de Coljozé, que era gobernador de la región de Mispá; fue él quien recubrió de madera las puertas, y quien les puso cerraduras y cerrojos; además, reconstruyó la muralla del estanque de Siloé, que va hacia el huerto del rey y llega a las escaleras que bajan de la ciudad de David.

Shallun, the son of Colhozeh, the prince of the region of Mizpah, restored the gate of the fountain; he built it, covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Siloah of the king’s garden, unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.

16 N ehemías hijo de Azbuc, que era gobernador de la otra mitad de Betsur, reconstruyó las murallas que pasan frente al sepulcro de David, hasta el estanque labrado y la Mansión de los Valientes.

After him restored Nehemiah, the son of Azbuk, the prince of half the region of Bethzur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David and to the pool that was made and unto the house of the mighty.

17 L e siguieron los levitas Rejún hijo de Bani y Jasabías, que era el gobernador de la mitad de la región de Keila, el cual reconstruyó a nombre de su región.

After him restored the Levites, Rehum, the son of Bani. Next unto him Hashabiah, prince of half the region of Keilah, restored in his part.

18 » A continuación se les unieron sus parientes Bavay hijo de Henadad, que era el gobernador de la otra mitad de Keila,

After him their brethren, Bavai, the son of Henadad, prince of the half the region of Keilah restored.

19 y Ezer hijo de Josué, que era el gobernador de Mispá, los cuales reconstruyeron las murallas que pasan frente a la cuesta de la armería de la esquina.

And next to him Ezer, the son of Jeshua, prince of Mizpah, restored another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.

20 L e siguió Baruc hijo de Zabay, que con mucho fervor restauró el tramo que va de la esquina hasta la puerta de la casa de Eliasib, el sumo sacerdote.

After him Baruch, the son of Zabbai, earnestly restored the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib, the high priest.

21 E l siguiente tramo, que va de la entrada de la casa de Eliasib hasta la parte final, lo restauró Meremot, el hijo de Urías y nieto de Cos.

After him, Meremoth, the son of Urijah, the son of Koz, restored another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

22 D espués de él se unieron a la restauración los sacerdotes de la llanura.

And after him the priests, the men of the plain, restored.

23 B enjamín y Jasub restauraron las murallas que estaban frente a su casa; Azarías, el hijo de Maseías y nieto de Jananías continuó el trabajo cerca de su casa.

After them Benjamin and Hashub restored over against their house. After them Azariah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ananiah, restored by his house.

24 B inúi hijo de Henadad reconstruyó el tramo que va de la casa de Azarías al ángulo entrante de la muralla, y hasta la esquina.

After him, Binnui, the son of Henadad, restored another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.

25 L e siguió Palal hijo de Uzay, que restauró el frente de la esquina y la torre que sobresale del palacio real, la cual está en el patio de la cárcel. Le siguió Pedaías hijo de Farós.

Palal, the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lies out from the king’s high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah, the son of Parosh.

26 » Los sirvientes del templo que habitaban en Ofel no se quedaron atrás, pues restauraron incluso el frente de la puerta de las Aguas y la torre que sobresale.

And the Nethinims were in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east and the tower that lies out.

27 L os tecoítas reconstruyeron el tramo que está frente a la torre que sobresale, y la muralla de Ofel.

After them the Tekoites restored another piece, over against the great tower that lies out, unto the wall of Ophel.

28 » Los sacerdotes reconstruyeron la puerta de los Caballos, y el tramo de la muralla que estaba frente a su casa.

From the horse gate the priests restored, each one over against his house.

29 S adoc hijo de Imer restauró la muralla frente a su casa, y lo mismo hizo Semaías hijo de Secanías, que era el guardián de la puerta Oriental.

After them Zadok, the son of Immer, restored over against his house. After him, Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate restored.

30 L e siguieron Jananías hijo de Selemías y Janún, el sexto hijo de Salaf, que restauraron otro tramo de la muralla, seguidos de Mesulán hijo de Berequías, que restauró el tramo frente a su casa.

After him, Hananiah, the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sixth son of Zalaph, restored another piece. After him Meshullam, the son of Berechiah restored over against his chamber.

31 M alquías, el hijo del platero, restauró el tramo de la casa de los criados del templo y de los comerciantes, que está frente a la puerta del Juicio, hasta llegar a la sala de la esquina.

After him, Malchiah, the son of the refiner, restored unto the place of the Nethinims and of the merchants, over against the gate of judgment and to the going up of the corner.

32 L os plateros y los comerciantes continuaron con la restauración desde la sala de la esquina hasta la puerta de las Ovejas.

And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate, the refiners and the merchants restored.
