1 P ueblos todos, ¡agiten las manos! ¡Aclamen a Dios con voces de júbilo!

O clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy!

2 E l Señor, el Altísimo, es en verdad temible; ¡es el gran Rey de toda la tierra!

For the Lord Most High excites terror, awe, and dread; He is a great King over all the earth.

3 E l Señor humillará bajo nosotros a los pueblos; pondrá a las naciones bajo nuestros pies.

He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

4 E scogió para nosotros la tierra que habitamos; ¡es el orgullo de Jacob, a quien amó!

He chose our inheritance for us, the glory and pride of Jacob, whom He loves. Selah!

5 D ios, el Señor, se ha entronizado entre aclamaciones y sonido de trompetas.

God has ascended amid shouting, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

God reigns over the nations; God sits upon His holy throne.

The princes and nobles of the peoples are gathered together, a people for the God of Abraham, for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.
