1 S eñor, no me reprendas en tu ira; no me castigues en tu enojo.

O Lord, rebuke me not in Your anger nor discipline and chasten me in Your hot displeasure.

2 S eñor, ten misericordia de mí, que estoy enfermo; sáname, pues todos mis huesos se estremecen.

Have mercy on me and be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak (faint and withered away); O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

3 S eñor, todo mi ser se halla alterado. ¿Hasta cuándo me responderás?

My self is also exceedingly disturbed and troubled. But You, O Lord, how long ?

4 H azme caso, Señor, y ponme a salvo; por causa de tu misericordia, ¡sálvame!.

Return, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of Your steadfast love and mercy.

5 E n la muerte, no hay memoria de ti; en el sepulcro no hay quien te alabe.

For in death there is no remembrance of You; in Sheol (the place of the dead) who will give You thanks?

6 M e estoy consumiendo de tanto llorar; Todas las noches lloro amargamente y baño con lágrimas mi lecho.

I am weary with my groaning; all night I soak my pillow with tears, I drench my couch with my weeping.

7 C ansados de sufrir están mis ojos; mis adversarios los han hecho envejecer.

My eye grows dim because of grief; it grows old because of all my enemies.

8 U stedes los malvados: ¡apártense de mí, que el Señor ha escuchado mis lamentos!

Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.

9 E l Señor ha atendido mis ruegos y ha aceptado mis oraciones.

The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord receives my prayer.

10 T odos mis adversarios quedarán avergonzados; ¡huirán de pronto, totalmente humillados!

Let all my enemies be ashamed and sorely troubled; let them turn back and be put to shame suddenly.
