1 B ienaventurado el perdonado de rebelión, el encubierto de pecado.

¶ Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2 B ienaventurado el hombre a quien no contará el SEÑOR la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay engaño.

Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 M ientras callé, se envejecieron mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4 P orque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; se volvió mi verdor en sequedades de verano. (Selah.)

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my green growth is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

5 M i pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones al SEÑOR; y tú perdonarás la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah.)

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and I have not hid my iniquity. I said, I will confess (against myself) my rebellions unto the LORD, and thou shalt forgive the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 P or esto orará a ti todo misericordioso en el tiempo de poder hallarte; ciertamente en la inundación de las muchas aguas no llegarán éstas a él.

For this shall every one that is merciful pray unto thee in the time when thou may be found; surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near unto him.

7 ¶ Tú eres mi escondedero; de la angustia me guardarás; con clamores de libertad me rodearás. (Selah.)

¶ Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

8 T e haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que andarás; sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will fix mine eyes upon thee.

9 N o seáis como el caballo, o como el mulo, sin entendimiento; con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser sujetada, porque si no, no llegan a ti.

Be ye not as the horse or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in subjection with bit and bridle, or they will not come near unto thee.

10 M uchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en el SEÑOR, lo cercará la misericordia.

There are many sorrows for the wicked; but he that waits in the LORD, mercy shall compass him round about.

11 A legraos en el SEÑOR, y gozaos, justos; y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, ye righteous, and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
