1 R espóndeme cuando llamo, oh Dios de mi justicia. Estando en angustia, tú me hiciste ensanchar; ten misericordia de mí, y oye mi oración.

¶ Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness; thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

2 H ijos de los hombres, ¿hasta cuándo volveréis mi honra en infamia, amaréis la vanidad, y buscaréis la mentira? (Selah.)

O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after the lie? Selah.

3 S abed pues, que el SEÑOR hizo apartar al pío para sí; el SEÑOR oirá cuando yo a él clamare.

But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

4 T emblad, y no pequéis. Meditad en vuestro corazón sobre vuestra cama, y desistid. (Selah.)

Stand in awe, and sin not; meditate in your heart upon your bed, and desist. Selah.

5 O freced sacrificios de justicia, y confiad en el SEÑOR.

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

6 ¶ Muchos dicen: ¿Quién nos mostrará el bien? Alza sobre nosotros, oh SEÑOR, la luz de tu rostro.

¶ There are many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7 T ú diste alegría en mi corazón, al tiempo que el grano y el mosto de ellos se multiplicó.

Thou hast put gladness in my heart in the time that their grain and their wine multiplied.

8 E n paz me acostaré, y asimismo dormiré; porque solo tú, SEÑOR, me harás estar confiado.

I will both lay me down in peace and sleep: for thou only, O LORD, dost make me to be confident.
