1 ¶ Y siendo Josué ya viejo, entrado en días, el SEÑOR le dijo: Tú eres ya viejo, de edad avanzada, y queda aún muchísima tierra por poseer.

¶ Now when Joshua was old and advanced in years, the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.

2 E sta es la tierra que queda: todos los términos de los filisteos, y toda Gesur;

This is the land that yet remains: all the borders of the Philistines and all Geshuri

3 d esde el Nilo, que está delante de Egipto, hasta el término de Ecrón al norte, la cual es contada entre los cananeos; cinco cardinales de los filisteos; los gazeos, los asdodios, los ascalonitas, los geteos, los ecronitas; y los aveos;

from the Nile, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted among the Canaanites; five cardinals of the Philistines; the Gazathites and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, also the Avites;

4 a l mediodía toda la tierra de los cananeos, y Mehara que es de los de Sidón, hasta Afec, hasta el término del amorreo;

towards the Negev all the land of the Canaanites and Mearah that is beside those of Sidon unto Aphek to the border of the Amorite;

5 y la tierra de los giblitas, y todo el Líbano hacia donde sale el sol, desde Baal-gad a las raíces del monte de Hermón, hasta entrar en Hamat.

and the land of the Giblites and all Lebanon toward the sunrising, from Baalgad at the root of Mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.

6 T odos los que habitan en las montañas desde el Líbano hasta las aguas calientes, todos los sidonios; yo los desarraigaré delante de los hijos de Israel; solamente repartirás tú por suerte el país a los israelitas por heredad, como te he mandado.

All the inhabitants of the mountains from Lebanon unto the hot springs and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the sons of Israel; only thou shalt divide the country by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

7 ¶ Parte, pues, tú ahora esta tierra en heredad a las nueve tribus, y a la media tribu de Manasés.

¶ Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes and the half tribe of Manasseh,

8 P orque la otra media recibió su heredad con los rubenitas y gaditas, la cual les dio Moisés del otro lado del Jordán al oriente, según que se la dio Moisés siervo del SEÑOR;

for the other half received their inheritance with the Reubenites and the Gadites, which Moses gave them of the other side of the Jordan eastward, according as Moses the slave of the LORD gave them;

9 d esde Aroer, que está a la orilla del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio del arroyo, y toda la campiña de Medeba, hasta Dibón;

from Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;

10 y todas las ciudades de Sehón rey de los amorreos, el cual reinó en Hesbón, hasta los términos de los hijos de Amón;

and all the cities of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the borders of the sons of Ammon;

11 y Galaad, y los términos de Gesur, y de Maaca, y todo el monte de Hermón, y toda la tierra de Basán hasta Salca.

and Gilead and the borders of the Geshur and Maachath and all Mount Hermon and all Bashan unto Salcah;

12 T odo el reino de Og en Basán, el cual reinó en Astarot y en Edrei, el cual había quedado del residuo de los refaítas; pues Moisés los hirió, y los echó de la tierra.

all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the Rephaim, for these did Moses smite and cast them out of the land.

13 M as a los de Gesur y Maaca no echaron los hijos de Israel; antes Gesur (El de la mirada soberbia) y Maaca (El Opresor) habitan entre los israelitas hasta hoy.

Nevertheless, the sons of Israel did not expel those of Geshur and Maachath, but Geshur and Maachath dwell among the Israelites until this day.

14 P ero a la tribu de Leví no dio heredad: los sacrificios encendidos del SEÑOR Dios de Israel son su heredad, como él les había dicho.

But unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the sacrifices on fire of the LORD God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said unto them.

15 D io, pues, Moisés a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén conforme a sus familias;

And Moses gave unto the tribe of the sons of Reuben according to their families,

16 y fue el término de ellos desde Aroer, que está a la orilla del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio del arroyo, y toda la campiña, hasta Medeba;

and their border was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river and all the plain until Medeba,

17 H esbón, con todas sus villas que están en la llanura; Dibón, Bamot-baal, Bet-baal-meón;

Heshbon and all her cities that are in the plain, Dibon, and Bamothbaal and Bethbaalmeon,

18 J ahaza, Cademot, Mefaat,

and Jahazah and Kedemoth and Mephaath,

19 Q uiriataim, Sibma, y Zaret-sahar en el monte de Emec (monte del valle);

and Kirjathaim and Sibmah and Zarethshahar in the mount of the valley,

20 B et-peor, Asdot-pisga, Bet-jesimot;

and Bethpeor and Ashdothpisgah and Bethjeshimoth,

21 y todas las ciudades de la campiña, y todo el reino de Sehón rey de los amorreos, que reinó en Hesbón, al cual hirió Moisés, y a los príncipes de Madián, Evi, Requem, Zur, Hur, y Reba, príncipes de Sehón que habitaban en aquella tierra.

and all the cities of the plain and all the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur and Hur and Reba, who were princes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.

22 T ambién mataron a espada los hijos de Israel a Balaam adivino, hijo de Beor, con los demás que mataron.

Balaam also, the son of Beor, the diviner, did the sons of Israel slay with the sword among those that were slain by them.

23 Y el término de los hijos de Rubén fue el Jordán con su término. Esta fue la herencia de los hijos de Rubén conforme a sus familias, estas ciudades con sus villas.

And the border of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuben according to their families, these cities with their villages.

24 D io asimismo Moisés a la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad, conforme a sus familias.

Moses likewise gave unto the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad according to their families.

25 Y el término de ellos fue Jazer, y todas las ciudades de Galaad, y la mitad de la tierra de los hijos de Amón hasta Aroer, que está delante de Rabá.

And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead and half of the land of the sons of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah,

26 Y desde Hesbón hasta Ramat-mizpa, y Betonim; y desde Mahanaim hasta el término de Debir;

and from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir,

27 y la campiña de Bet-aram, Bet-nimra, Sucot, y Zafón, el resto del reino de Sehón, rey en Hesbón; el Jordán y su término hasta el cabo del mar de Cineret del otro lado del Jordán al oriente.

and the valley of Betharam and Bethnimrah and Succoth and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon, king of Heshbon, the Jordan and its border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.

28 E sta es la herencia de los hijos de Gad, por sus familias, las ciudades con sus villas.

This is the inheritance of the sons of Gad according to their families, these cities with their villages.

29 T ambién dio Moisés a la media tribu de Manasés; y fue de la media tribu de los hijos de Manasés, conforme a sus familias.

And Moses also gave unto the half tribe of Manasseh, and it belonged to the half tribe of the sons of Manasseh according to their families.

30 E l término de ellos fue desde Mahanaim, todo Basán, todo el reino de Og rey de Basán, y todas las aldeas de Jair que están en Basán, sesenta ciudades.

Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

31 S e dio además la mitad de Galaad, Astarot, y Edrei, las ciudades del reino de Og en Basán, a los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, a la mitad de los hijos de Maquir conforme a sus familias.

And half of Gilead and Ashtaroth and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were given to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, even to one half of the sons of Machir, according to their families.

32 E sto es lo que Moisés repartió en heredad en los llanos de Moab, del otro lado del Jordán de Jericó, al oriente.

This is what Moses distributed in inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan of Jericho, eastward.

33 M as a la tribu de Leví no dio Moisés heredad: el SEÑOR Dios de Israel es la heredad de ellos como él les había dicho.

But to the tribe of Levi Moses did not give any inheritance; the LORD God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said unto them.
