1 ¶ Así que, los que somos más firmes, debemos sobrellevar las flaquezas de los flacos, y no agradarnos a nosotros mismos.

¶ We then that are stronger ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not please ourselves.

2 C ada uno de nosotros agrade a su prójimo en bien, para edificación.

Let each one of us please his neighbour in that which is good, unto edification.

3 P orque el Cristo no se agradó a sí mismo; antes bien, como está escrito: Los vituperios de los que te vituperan, cayeron sobre mí.

For the Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of those that reproached thee fell on me.

4 P orque las cosas que antes fueron escritas, para nuestra enseñanza fueron escritas; para que por el padecer con paciencia, y por la consolación de las Escrituras, tengamos esperanza.

For the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction that we, through patient endurance and through the comfort of the scriptures, might have hope.

5 ¶ Mas el Dios de la paciencia y de la consolación os dé que entre vosotros seáis unánimes según Cristo Jesús;

¶ Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be unanimous among yourselves according to Christ Jesus,

6 p ara que concordes, a una voz glorifiquéis al Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

that ye may with one accord and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 ¶ Por tanto, sobrellevaos los unos a los otros, como también el Cristo nos sobrellevó, para gloria de Dios.

¶ Therefore bear one another, as the Christ also bore us, to the glory of God.

8 D igo, pues, que Cristo Jesús fue Ministro de la Circuncisión, por la verdad de Dios para confirmar las promesas de los padres,

Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers;

9 p ero que los gentiles glorifiquen a Dios por la misericordia; como está escrito: Por tanto yo te confesaré a ti entre los gentiles, y cantaré a tu Nombre.

but that the Gentiles glorify God by mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess thee among the Gentiles and sing unto thy name.

10 Y otra vez dice: Alegraos, gentiles, con su pueblo.

And again he says, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 Y otra vez: Alabad al Señor todos los gentiles, Y magnificadle, todos los pueblos.

And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all the peoples.

12 Y otra vez, dice Isaías: Estará la raíz de Jessé, y el que se levantará a regir los gentiles; los gentiles esperarán la salvación en él.

And again, Isaiah says, There shall be a root of Jesse and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles shall wait for salvation.

13 ¶ Y el Dios de esperanza os llena de todo gozo y paz creyendo; para que abundéis en esperanza por la virtud del Espíritu Santo.

¶ And believing, the God of hope fills you with all joy and peace that ye may abound in hope by the virtue of the Holy Spirit.

14 ¶ Pero cierto estoy yo de vosotros, hermanos míos, que aun sin mi exhortación estáis llenos de caridad, llenos de todo conocimiento, de tal manera que podáis amonestaros los unos a los otros.

¶ But I am convinced regarding you, my brethren, that even without my exhortation ye are full of charity, full of all knowledge, so as to be able to admonish one another.

15 M as os he escrito, hermanos, en parte osadamente, como amonestándoos por la gracia que de Dios me es dada.

Nevertheless I have written, brethren, in part boldly, as admonishing you by the grace that is given to me of God,

16 P or ser ministro de Jesucristo a los gentiles, ministrando el Evangelio de Dios, para que la ofrenda de los gentiles sea agradable, santificada por el Espíritu Santo.

being the minister of Jesus Christ, to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be well pleasing, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17 ¶ Así que tengo de qué gloriarme en Cristo, Jesús, para con Dios.

¶ Therefore I have something to boast of in Christ Jesus, with regard to God.

18 P orque no osaría hablar alguna cosa que Cristo no haya hecho por mí, para la obediencia de los gentiles, con la palabra y con las obras,

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not wrought by me, unto the obedience of the Gentiles, with word and with deed,

19 c on potencia de milagros y prodigios, en virtud del Espíritu de Dios; de manera que desde Jerusalén, y por los alrededores hasta Ilírico, he llenado todo del Evangelio del Cristo.

with power of signs and wonders, in virtue of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem and round about unto Illyricum, I have filled the entire area with the gospel of the Christ.

20 Y de esta manera me prediqué este Evangelio, no donde antes Cristo fuera nombrado, por no edificar sobre fundamento ajeno;

And in this manner I preached this gospel, not where Christ had been named previously, not to build upon a foundation belonging to another,

21 s ino, como está escrito: A los que no fue anunciado de él, verán; y los que no oyeron, entenderán.

but, as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see, and those that have not heard shall understand.

22 ¶ Por lo cual aun he sido impedido muchas veces de venir a vosotros.

¶ For which reason I have even been hindered many times from coming to you.

23 M as ahora teniendo más lugar en estas regiones, y deseando ir a vosotros hace muchos años,

But now having more place in these parts and having a great desire these many years to come unto you,

24 c uando partiere para España, iré a vosotros; porque espero que pasando os veré, y que seré llevado de vosotros allá, si empero antes hubiere gozado de vosotros.

when I leave for Spain, I will come unto you; for I trust to see you on my journey and to be taken there by you, if first I may enjoy your company.

25 M as ahora parto para Jerusalén a ministrar a los santos.

But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26 P orque los de Macedonia y Acaya tuvieron por bien hacer una colecta para los pobres de los santos que están en Jerusalén.

For it has pleased those of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints who are in Jerusalem.

27 P orque les pareció bueno, y son deudores a ellos; porque si los gentiles han sido hechos participantes de sus bienes espirituales, deben también ellos servirles en los carnales.

It has pleased them verily, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they should also minister unto them in carnal things.

28 A sí que, cuando hubiere concluido esto, y les hubiere consignado este fruto, pasaré a vosotros a España.

So that, when I have concluded this and have delivered unto them this fruit, I will come by you unto Spain.

29 P orque sé que cuando llegue a vosotros, llegaré en la plenitud de la bendición del Cristo.

For I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of the Christ.

30 ¶ Pero os ruego, hermanos, por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y por la caridad del Espíritu, que me ayudéis con oraciones por mí a Dios,

¶ But I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Spirit, that ye help me with prayers to God for me,

31 Q ue sea librado de los desobedientes que están en Judea, y que la ofrenda de mi servicio a los santos en Jerusalén sea acepta;

that I may be delivered from the disobedient in Judaea and that the offering of my service to the saints in Jerusalem may be accepted,

32 p ara que con gozo llegue a vosotros por la voluntad de Dios, y que sea recreado juntamente con vosotros.

that I may come unto you with joy by the will of God and may be refreshed together with you.

33 Y el Dios de paz sea con todos vosotros. Amén.

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
