And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19 Y a Heber le nacieron dos hijos; el nombre del uno fue Peleg, por cuanto en sus días fue dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano fue Joctán.

And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan.

31 L os hijos de Cetura, concubina de Abraham, dio a luz a Zimram, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac, y a Súa.

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she gave birth to Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

35 ¶ Los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jaalam, y Coré.

The sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and Timna was Lotan’s sister.

43 Y éstos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinara rey sobre los hijos de Israel. Bela, hijo de Beor; y el nombre de su ciudad fue Dinaba.

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the sons of Israel. Bela, the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

And when Bela was dead, Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his stead.

45 Y muerto Jobab reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los temanitas.

And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 M uerto Husam, reinó en su lugar Hadad, hijo de Bedad, el cual hirió a Madián en la campaña de Moab; y el nombre de su ciudad fue Avit.

And when Husham was dead, Hadad, the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

47 M uerto Adad, reinó en su lugar Samla, de Masreca.

And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48 M uerto también Samla, reinó en su lugar Saúl de Rehobot, que está junto al río.

And when Samlah was dead, Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

49 Y muerto Saúl, reinó en su lugar Baal-hanán, hijo de Acbor.

And when Saul was dead, Baalhanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his stead.

50 Y muerto Baal-hanán, reinó en su lugar Hadad. El nombre de su ciudad fue Pai; y el nombre de su mujer Mehetabel, hija de Matred, y ésta hija de Mezaab.

And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead. The name of his city was Pai, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

When Hadad was dead, the dukes came forth in Edom: Duke Timnah, Duke Aliah, Duke Jetheth,

Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,

53 e l duque Cenaz, el duque Temán, el duque Mibzar,

Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
