1 H echas todas estas cosas, salió todo Israel, los que se habían hallado allí, por las ciudades de Judá, y quebraron las imágenes y destruyeron los bosques, y derribaron los lugares altos y los altares por todo Judá y Benjamín, y también en Efraín y Manasés, hasta acabarlo todo. Después se volvieron todos los hijos de Israel, cada uno a su posesión y a sus ciudades.

¶ Now when all this was finished, all Israel went out, those that were present, to the cities of Judah and broke the images in pieces and cut down the groves and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the sons of Israel returned, each man to his possession, into their own cities.

2 Y constituyó Ezequías los repartimientos de los sacerdotes y de los levitas conforme a sus repartimientos, cada uno según su servicio: los sacerdotes y los levitas para el holocausto y pacíficos, para que ministraran, para que confesaran, y alabaran a las puertas de las tiendas del SEÑOR.

And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, each man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister and to give thanks and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.

3 L a contribución del rey de su hacienda, era para los holocaustos de la mañana y de la tarde, y holocaustos para los sábados, nuevas lunas, y fiestas solemnes, como está escrito en la ley del SEÑOR.

The king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings was the morning and evening burnt offerings and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the solemn feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD.

4 M andó también al pueblo que habitaba en Jerusalén, que dieran la porción a los sacerdotes y levitas, para que se esforzaran en la ley del SEÑOR.

Moreover, he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.

5 Y cuando la palabra tomó fuerza al multiplicarse, les fue mutiplicado a los hijos de Israel muchas primicias de grano, vino, aceite, miel, y de todos los frutos de la tierra; y trajeron asimismo los diezmos de todas las cosas en abundancia.

And as soon as the commandment burst forth and multiplied, an abundance of firstfruits of grain, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field was multiplied unto the sons of Israel; and likewise, they brought in the tithe, of all things in abundance.

6 T ambién los hijos de Israel y de Judá, que habitaban en las ciudades de Judá, dieron del mismo modo los diezmos de las vacas y de las ovejas; y trajeron los diezmos de lo santificado, de las cosas que habían prometido al SEÑOR su Dios, y los depositaron por montones.

Also the sons of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, gave in the same manner the tithe of the cows and the sheep, and the tithe of that which was sanctified of the things which had been promised unto the LORD their God, and laid them in heaps.

7 E n el mes tercero comenzaron a fundar aquellos montones, y en el mes séptimo acabaron.

In the third month they began to found those heaps, and they finished them in the seventh month.

8 ¶ Y Ezequías y los príncipes vinieron a ver los montones, y bendijeron al SEÑOR, y a su pueblo Israel.

And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD and his people Israel.

9 Y preguntó Ezequías a los sacerdotes y a los levitas acerca de los montones.

Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.

10 Y le respondió Azarías, sumo sacerdote, de la casa de Sadoc, y dijo: Desde que comenzaron a traer la ofrenda a la Casa del SEÑOR, hemos comido y nos hemos saciado, y nos ha sobrado mucho; porque el SEÑOR ha bendecido su pueblo, y ha quedado esta gran provisión.

And Azariah, the high priest of the house of Zadok, answered him and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have eaten and been satisfied and have had an abundance left over; for the LORD has blessed his people, and that which is left is this great store.

11 E ntonces mandó Ezequías que prepararan cámaras en la Casa del SEÑOR; y las prepararon.

¶ Then Hezekiah commanded that they prepare chambers in the house of the LORD, and they prepared them

12 Y metieron las ofrendas y diezmos y las cosas consagradas, fielmente; y dieron cargo de ello a Conanías, el levita, el principal, y Simei su hermano fue el segundo.

and brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully, over which Cononiah, the Levite, was ruler and Shimei, his brother, was second.

13 Y Jehiel, Azazías, Nahat, Asael, Jerimot, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismaquías, Mahat, y Benaía, fueron sobrestantes bajo la mano de Conanías y de Simei su hermano, por mandamiento del rey Ezequías y de Azarías, príncipe de la Casa de Dios.

And Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath, and Benaiah were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah, the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.

14 Y Coré hijo de Imna, el levita, portero al oriente, tenía a su cargo las ofrendas voluntarias de Dios, y las ofrendas del SEÑOR que se daban, y todo lo que se santificaba.

And Kore, the son of Imnah, the Levite, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the offerings of the LORD and the most holy things.

15 Y a su mano estaba Edén, Benjamín, Jesúa, Semaías, Amarías, y Secanías, en las ciudades de los sacerdotes, para dar con fidelidad a sus hermanos sus partes conforme a sus órdenes, así al mayor como al menor.

And at his hand were Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah in the cities of the priests, to faithfully give their brethren their parts according to their courses, to the great the same as to the small.

16 S in lo que se contaba para los varones de tres años arriba, a todos los que entraban en la Casa del SEÑOR, cada cosa en su día por su ministerio, por sus estancias y por sus órdenes;

Besides that which is counted for the males from three years old and upward, unto all that entered into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their ministry in their charges according to their courses;

17 y a los que eran contados entre los sacerdotes por las familias de sus padres, y a los levitas de edad de veinte años arriba, por sus estancias y órdenes;

both to those numbered among the priests by the house of their fathers and among the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses;

18 a simismo a los de su generación con todos sus niños, y sus mujeres, y sus hijos e hijas, para toda la compañía; porque en su fe se santificaron en santidad.

and likewise unto those of their generation with all their little ones, their wives, and their sons and daughters, through all the congregation, for in their faithfulness they sanctified themselves in holiness.

19 A simismo a los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, que estaban en los campos de los ejidos de sus ciudades, por todas las ciudades, los varones nombrados tenían a su cargo dar sus porciones a todos los varones de los sacerdotes, y a todo el linaje de los levitas.

Likewise, to the sons of Aaron, the priests, who were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in all the cities, the men that were expressed by name, gave portions to all the males among the priests and to all the lineage of the Levites.

20 D e esta manera hizo Ezequías en todo Judá; el cual hizo lo bueno, recto, y verdadero, delante del SEÑOR su Dios.

And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah and wrought that which was good and right and true before the LORD his God.

21 E n todo cuanto comenzó en el servicio de la Casa de Dios, y en la ley y mandamientos, buscó a su Dios, y lo hizo de todo corazón, y fue prosperado.

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God and in the law and in the commandments, he sought God and he did it with all his heart and was prospered.
