1 M isericordia y justicia cantaré; A ti cantaré yo, oh Jehová.

¶ I will sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

2 A prenderé el camino de la perfección. ¿Cuándo vendrás a mí? En la integridad de mi corazón andaré en el interior de mi casa.

When thou shalt come unto me, I will walk in the way of perfection and understand. I will walk in the midst of my house in the perfection of my heart.

3 N o pondré delante de mis ojos ninguna cosa injusta. Aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían; Nada de ellos se me pegará.

I will set nothing of Belial before my eyes: I hate the work of those that betray; it shall not cleave to me.

4 C orazón perverso se apartará de mí; No conoceré al malvado.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know a wicked person.

5 A l que solapadamente difama a su prójimo, lo exterminaré; No soportaré al de ojos altaneros y de corazón vanidoso.

Whosoever secretly slanders his neighbour, I will cut off; he that has a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

6 M is ojos pondré en los fieles de la tierra, para que moren conmigo; El que ande en el camino de la perfección, ése será mi servidor.

My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walks in the way of perfection, he shall serve me.

7 N o habitará dentro de mi casa el que comete fraude; El que habla mentiras no permanecerá en mi presencia.

He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

8 C ada mañana exterminaré a todos los impíos de la nación, Para extirpar de la ciudad de Jehová a todos los autores de iniquidad.

I will early destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
