1 A mo a Jehová, pues ha escuchado La voz de mis súplicas;

¶ I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.

2 P orque ha inclinado a mí su oído Cuantas veces le he invocado en mi vida.

Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore I will call upon him all of my days.

3 M e rodearon ligaduras de muerte, Me alcanzaron las angustias del Seol; En angustia y dolor me encontraba yo.

The sorrows of death compassed me and the pains of Sheol found me; I encountered trouble and sorrow.

4 E ntonces invoqué el nombre de Jehová, diciendo: Oh Jehová, te ruego que salves mi vida.

Then I called upon the name of the LORD, saying, O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

5 C lemente es Jehová, y justo; Sí, misericordioso es nuestro Dios.

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

6 J ehová guarda a los sencillos; Estaba yo postrado, y me salvó.

The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and he saved me.

7 R ecobra, oh alma mía, tu calma, Porque Jehová te ha procurado bienes.

Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with thee.

8 P ues tú has librado mi alma de la muerte, Mis ojos de las lágrimas, Y mis pies de resbalar.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9 A ndaré delante de Jehová En la tierra de los vivientes.

I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

10 M antuve mi fe, aun cuando decía: Estoy afligido en gran manera.

¶ I believed, therefore I spoke, and was greatly afflicted;

11 Y dije en mi apresuramiento: Todo hombre es mentiroso.

I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12 ¿ Qué pagaré a Jehová Por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13 L evantaré la copa de la salvación, E invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

I will take the cup of saving health and invoke the name of the LORD.

14 A hora cumpliré mis votos a Jehová Delante de todo su pueblo.

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15 E stimada es a los ojos de Jehová La muerte de sus santos.

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his merciful ones.

16 O h Jehová, ciertamente yo soy tu siervo, Siervo tuyo soy, hijo de tu sierva; Tú sueltas mis ligaduras.

This is so, O LORD, because I am thy slave; I am thy slave, the son of thine handmaid; thou hast loosed my bonds.

17 T e ofreceré sacrificio de alabanza, E invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

I will offer unto thee the sacrifice of praise and will invoke the name of the LORD.

18 A Jehová cumpliré ahora mis votos Delante de todo su pueblo,

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

19 E n los atrios de la casa de Jehová, En medio de ti, oh Jerusalén. Aleluya.

in the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Halelu-JAH.
