1 J udas, siervo de Jesucristo, y hermano de Jacobo, a los llamados, santificados en Dios Padre, y guardados para Jesucristo:

¶ Jude, slave of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those that are called, sanctified in God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:

2 M isericordia y paz y amor os sean multiplicados. Falsas doctrinas y falsos maestros

Mercy and peace and charity be multiplied unto you.

3 A mados, por la gran solicitud que tenía de escribiros acerca de nuestra común salvación, me he visto en la necesidad de escribiros, exhortándoos a que contendáis ardientemente por la fe que ha sido transmitida a los santos de una vez por todas.

¶ Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that ye should earnestly persevere in the faith which was given once unto the saints.

4 P orque se han introducido solapadamente algunos hombres, los que desde antes habían sido destinados para esta condenación, hombres impíos, que convierten en libertinaje la gracia de nuestro Dios, y niegan a Dios el único soberano, y a nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

For there are certain men crept in unawares without fear or reverence of God, who from beforehand have been ordained unto this condemnation, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying God who alone has dominion, and our Lord Jesus, the Christ.

5 M as quiero recordaros, ya que una vez lo habéis sabido, que el Señor, habiendo salvado al pueblo sacándolo de Egipto, después destruyó a los que no creyeron.

I will, therefore, remind you, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those that did not believe.

6 Y a los ángeles que no guardaron su dignidad, sino que abandonaron su propia morada, los ha guardado bajo oscuridad, en prisiones eternas, para el juicio del gran día;

And the angels who did not keep their first estate but left their own habitation, he has reserved in eternal chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7 c omo Sodoma y Gomorra y las ciudades vecinas, las cuales de la misma manera que aquéllos, habiendo fornicado e ido en pos de vicios contra naturaleza, fueron puestas como ejemplo, sufriendo el castigo del fuego eterno.

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, were set forth for an example, having received the judgment of eternal fire.

8 N o obstante, de la misma manera también estos soñadores mancillan la carne, rechazan la autoridad y blasfeman de las potestades superiores.

¶ In the same manner these deceived dreamers, defile their flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of higher powers.

9 P ero cuando el arcángel Miguel contendía con el diablo, disputando con él acerca del cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió a proferir juicio de maldición contra él, sino que dijo: El Señor te reprenda.

Yet when Michael, the archangel, contended with the devil, disputing over the body of Moses, he dared not bring against him a curse of judgment, but said, The Lord reprehend thee.

10 P ero éstos blasfeman de cuantas cosas no conocen; y en las que, como animales irracionales, conocen por instinto, en ésas se corrompen.

But these speak evil of those things which they do not know; but what they know by nature as animals without reason, in those things they corrupt themselves.

11 ¡ Ay de ellos!, porque han seguido el camino de Caín, y se lanzaron por lucro al error de Balaam, y perecieron en la rebelión de Coré.

Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

12 É stos son manchas en vuestros ágapes, que comiendo impúdicamente con vosotros se apacientan a sí mismos; nubes sin agua, llevadas de acá para allá por los vientos; árboles otoñales, sin fruto, dos veces muertos y desarraigados;

These are spots in your banquets of charity, feeding themselves without any fear whatsoever: clouds without water, carried to and fro of the winds; trees withered as in fall, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

13 f ieras olas del mar, que espuman sus propias vergüenzas; estrellas errantes, para las cuales está reservada eternamente la oscuridad de las tinieblas.

raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own abominations; erratic stars, to whom is reserved gross darkness eternally.

14 D e éstos también profetizó Enoc, séptimo desde Adán, diciendo: He aquí, vino el Señor con sus santas decenas de millares,

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints

15 p ara hacer juicio contra todos, y dejar convictos a todos los impíos de todas sus obras impías que han hecho impíamente, y de todas las cosas duras que los pecadores impíos hablaron contra él.

¶ to execute judgment upon all and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have unfaithfully committed and of all the hard words which the unfaithful sinners have spoken against him.

16 É stos son murmuradores, querellosos, que andan según sus propios deseos, cuya boca habla cosas arrogantes, adulando a las personas para sacar provecho. Amonestaciones a perseverar

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own desires; and their mouth speaks arrogant things, admiring persons to take advantage.

17 P ero vosotros, amados, tened memoria de las palabras que antes fueron dichas por los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo;

But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

18 l os cuales os decían: Al fin de los tiempos habrá burladores, que andarán según sus malvados deseos.

how that they told you, That in the last time there would be mockers, who would walk after their own ungodly desires.

19 É stos son los que causan divisiones; los mundanos, que no tienen el Espíritu.

These are those who make divisions, and are as animals, not having the Spirit.

20 P ero vosotros, amados, edificándoos sobre vuestra santísima fe, orando en el Espíritu Santo,

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves upon your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

21 c onservaos en el amor de Dios, aguardando con anhelo la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para vida eterna.

keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal life,

22 A algunos que dudan, convencedlos.

And receive some with mercy, discerning;

23 A otros salvadlos, arrebatándolos del fuego; y de otros tened misericordia con temor, aborreciendo aun la ropa contaminada por su carne. Doxología

And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

24 Y a aquel que es poderoso para guardaros sin caída, y presentaros sin mancha delante de su gloria con gran alegría,

Now unto him that is powerful to keep you without sin and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 a l único y sabio Dios, nuestro Salvador, sea gloria y majestad, dominio y autoridad, ahora y por todos los siglos. Amén.

to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, now and in all the ages. Amen.
