1 D espués me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué, el cual estaba de pie delante del ángel de Jehová, y Satanás estaba a su mano derecha para acusarle.

¶ And he showed me Joshua the high priest, standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

2 Y dijo Jehová a Satanás: Jehová te reprenda, oh Satanás; Jehová que ha escogido a Jerusalén te reprenda. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del incendio?

And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD reprehend thee, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen Jerusalem reprehend thee; is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 Y Josué estaba vestido de vestiduras sucias, y estaba de pie delante del ángel.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the angel.

4 Y habló el ángel, y mandó a los que estaban delante de él, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestiduras sucias. Y a él le dijo: Mira que hago pasar de ti tu pecado, y te voy a vestir de ropas de gala.

And the angel answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I have caused thee to be clothed with new raiment.

5 D espués dijo: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y le vistieron las ropas. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba en pie.

And I said, Let them set a clean mitre upon his head. So they set a clean mitre upon his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

6 Y el ángel de Jehová aseguró solemnemente a Josué, diciendo:

And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,

7 A sí dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Si andas por mis caminos, y eres fiel a mi ministerio, también tú gobernarás mi casa, también guardarás mis atrios, y entre éstos que aquí están te daré lugar.

Thus saith the LORD of the hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also govern my house and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place among these that are here.

8 E scucha pues, ahora, Josué sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti, porque son varones de presagio, pues he aquí que yo traigo a mi siervo el Retoño.

¶ Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee, for they are men of wonder. Behold, I bring forth my slave the BRANCH.

9 P orque he aquí aquella piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos; he aquí, yo grabaré su escultura, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y quitaré el pecado de la tierra en un solo día.

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone there are seven eyes; behold, I will engrave his labour, saith the LORD of the hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of the land in one day.

10 E n aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros convidará a su compañero, debajo de su parra y debajo de su higuera.

In that day, saith the LORD of the hosts, each one of you shall call his neighbour under his vine and under his fig tree.
