1 З ачем возмущаются народы, и язычники замышляют пустое?

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?

2 В осстают земные цари, и правители собираются вместе против Господа и против Его Помазанника.

The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his Anointed, saying,

3 « Цепи Их разорвем, – говорят. – Оковы Их сбросим!»

“Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”

4 В осседающий на небесах смеется, Владыка насмехается над ними.

He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.

5 Т огда скажет им во гневе Своем, и яростью Своею приведет их в смятение:

Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:

6 « Я поставил Царя Своего над Сионом, Моей святой горой».

“Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”

7 В озвещу волю Господа: Он сказал Мне: «Ты Сын Мой, сегодня Я родил Тебя.

I will tell of the decree. Yahweh said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.

8 П роси у Меня, и отдам народы Тебе в наследие, края земли – Тебе во владение.

Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

9 С окрушишь их железным скипетром, как сосуд горшечника расколешь».

You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

10 И так, образумьтесь, цари, научитесь, земные судьи!

Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth.

11 С лужите Господу со страхом и радуйтесь с трепетом.

Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Ц елуйте Сына, чтобы Он не разгневался, и вы не погибли в пути, потому что гнев Его быстро вспыхивает. Блаженны все, кто у Него ищет прибежища.

Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
