1 I will cry to God with my voice, even to God with my voice, and He will give ear and hearken to me.

2 I n the day of my trouble I seek (inquire of and desperately require) the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without slacking up; I refuse to be comforted.

В день бедствия моего искал я Владыку; всю ночь напролет я простирал руки мои. Душа моя не могла найти утешения.

3 I remember God; I am disquieted and I groan; I muse in prayer, and my spirit faints. Selah!

Я вспомнил о Тебе, Боже, и застонал; я размышлял, и изнемогал дух мой. Пауза

4 Y ou hold my eyes from closing; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

Ты не давал мне сомкнуть глаз; я был ошеломлен и не мог говорить.

5 I consider the days of old, the years of bygone times.

Я думал о днях древних, о годах давних.

6 I call to remembrance my song in the night; with my heart I meditate and my spirit searches diligently:

Вспоминал ночью песни свои, размышлял в сердце своем и духом своим испытывал:

7 W ill the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?

неужели Владыка навсегда отверг нас и больше не будет милостив?

8 H ave His mercy and loving-kindness ceased forever? Have His promises ended for all time?

Навсегда ли исчезла Его милость, и навек ли пресеклось слово Его?

9 H as God abandoned or forgotten His graciousness? Has He in anger shut up His compassion? Selah!

Забыл ли Бог миловать, удержал ли в гневе любовь Свою? Пауза

10 A nd I say, This is my appointed lot and trial, but I will recall the years of the right hand of the Most High, for this is my grief, that the right hand of the Most High changes.

И сказал я: «Вот боль моя – Всевышний более не заступается за нас».

11 I will recall the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember the wonders of old.

Буду вспоминать о делах Господа; буду помнить чудеса Твои древние.

12 I will meditate also upon all Your works and consider all Your deeds.

Я буду размышлять о всех делах Твоих, о деяниях Твоих думать.

13 Y our way, O God, is in the sanctuary. Who is a great God like our God?

Твой путь, Боже, свят! Какой бог так велик, как наш Бог?

14 Y ou are the God Who does wonders; You have demonstrated Your power among the peoples.

Ты – Бог, чудеса творящий; Ты явил Свое могущество среди народов.

15 Y ou have with Your arm redeemed Your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah!

Рукой Своей Ты спас народ Твой – сынов Иакова и Иосифа. Пауза

16 W hen the waters saw You, O God, they were afraid; the deep shuddered also, for the waters saw You.

Тебя увидели воды, Боже, Тебя увидели воды и испугались, содрогнулись бездны.

17 T he clouds poured down water, the skies sent out a sound; Your arrows went forth.

Тучи излили воды, небо разразилось громом, и стрелы Твои летали.

18 T he voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind, the lightnings illumined the world; the earth trembled and shook.

Раскаты грома Твоего были в вихре, и молнии озарили вселенную; земля содрогалась и тряслась.

19 Y our way was through the sea, and Your paths through the great waters, yet Your footsteps were not traceable, but were obliterated.

Путь Твой пролегал через море, и тропа Твоя – через воды глубокие, хотя следов Твоих не было видно.

20 Y ou led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Как стадо, вел Ты Свой народ рукою Моисея и Аарона.
