1 G ive the king Your judging, O God, and Your righteousness to the king’s son.

Боже, справедливостью Твоей надели царя и праведностью Твоей – сына царского,

2 L et him judge and govern Your people with righteousness, and Your poor and afflicted ones with judgment and justice.

чтобы он судил народ Твой праведно и страдальцев Твоих – справедливо.

3 T he mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness.

Горы принесут процветание народу, и холмы – плоды праведности.

4 M ay he judge and defend the poor of the people, deliver the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor,

Он защитит страдальцев из народа, спасет сыновей нищих и сокрушит притеснителя.

5 S o that they may revere and fear You while the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

Будут бояться Тебя, пока существуют солнце и луна, из поколения в поколение.

6 M ay he be like rain that comes down upon the mown grass, like showers that water the earth.

Он будет как дождь, идущий над скошенным полем, словно ливень, орошающий землю.

7 I n His days shall the righteous flourish and peace abound till there is a moon no longer.

В дни его будет процветать праведник, и благоденствие не прекратится, пока не исчезнет луна.

8 H e shall have dominion also from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

Он будет владычествовать от моря и до моря и от реки Евфрата до краев земли.

9 T hose who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before Him and His enemies shall lick the dust.

Жители пустынь преклонятся перед ним, и враги его будут лизать пыль.

10 T he kings of Tarshish and of the coasts shall bring offerings; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

Цари Таршиша и отдаленных побережий принесут ему дань, цари Шевы и Севы принесут дары.

11 Y es, all kings shall fall down before Him, all nations shall serve Him.

Поклонятся ему все цари; все народы будут ему служить.

12 F or He delivers the needy when he calls out, the poor also and him who has no helper.

Он спасет нищего, когда тот взывает, и угнетенного, у которого нет помощника.

13 H e will have pity on the poor and weak and needy and will save the lives of the needy.

Он будет милосерден к бедному и нищему; души нищих он спасет.

14 H e will redeem their lives from oppression and fraud and violence, and precious and costly shall their blood be in His sight.

От угнетения и насилия избавит их души, ведь драгоценна их кровь в глазах его.

15 A nd He shall live; and to Him shall be given gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made for Him and through Him continually, and they shall bless and praise Him all the day long.

Пусть будет долог его век; и пусть будет дано ему золото Шевы. И пусть непрестанно возносят молитвы за него, весь день прославляя его.

16 T here shall be abundance of grain in the soil upon the top of the mountains; the fruit of it shall wave like Lebanon, and the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

Пусть будет обилие хлеба на всей земле, и ветер колышет колосья на вершинах холмов, подобно процветанию Ливана пусть будет его изобилие, и пусть оно покроет землю, подобно траве.

17 H is name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed and bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed!

Пусть имя его пребудет вовек, пока пребывает солнце. В нем благословятся все народы земли, и они назовут его благословенным. Заключительное благословение второй книги

18 B lessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone does wondrous things!

Благословен будь Господь, Бог Израиля, Который один творит чудеса!

19 B lessed be His glorious name forever; let the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen!

Пусть всегда превозносится Его величественное Имя, и наполнится вся земля Его славою! Аминь и аминь!
