1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Восславлю Господа во всякое время, хвала Ему всегда на устах моих.

2 M y life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad.

Душа моя будет хвалиться Господом; пусть услышат кроткие и возвеселятся.

3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

Славьте со мною Господа; превознесем Его Имя вместе!

4 I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Я искал Господа, и Он мне ответил и от всех моих страхов меня избавил.

5 T hey looked to Him and were radiant; their faces shall never blush for shame or be confused.

Кто обращал к Нему взор, сияет от радости, лица их не покроет стыд.

6 T his poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Этот бедняк воззвал, и Господь услышал его, и от всех напастей его избавил.

7 T he Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and each of them He delivers.

Ангел Господень ополчается вокруг тех, кто боится Господа, и избавляет их.

8 O taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.

Вкусите и увидите, как благ Господь! Благословен тот, кто ищет прибежища у Него.

9 O fear the Lord, you His saints! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.

Бойтесь Господа, святые Его, ведь кто боится Его, ни в чем не нуждается.

10 T he young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord, none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.

Молодые львы бедствуют и голодают, а ищущие Господа не имеют нужды ни в каком благе.

11 C ome, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to revere and worshipfully fear the Lord.

Придите, дети, послушайте меня, я научу вас страху Господню.

12 W hat man is he who desires life and longs for many days, that he may see good?

Кто любит жизнь и желает видеть добрые дни?

13 K eep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Удерживай свой язык от зла и свои уста от коварных речей.

14 D epart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it!

Удаляйся от зла и твори добро; ищи мира и стремись к нему.

15 T he eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry.

Глаза Господни на праведных, и уши Его открыты для их молитвы,

16 T he face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

но лицо Господне против тех, кто делает зло, чтобы память о них на земле истребить.

17 W hen the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.

Взывают праведные, и Господь их слышит, и от всех скорбей их избавляет.

18 T he Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.

Близок Господь к сокрушенным сердцем и спасает павшего духом.

19 M any evils confront the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Много скорбей у праведного, но от всех их избавляет его Господь.

20 H e keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Он все кости его хранит, ни одна из них не будет переломлена.

21 E vil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned.

Погубит грешника зло; ненавидящие праведного будут осуждены.

22 T he Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.

Господь спасает жизнь Своих слуг; и никто, который у Него ищет прибежища, не будет осужден.
