1 B e merciful and gracious to me, O God, for man would trample me or devour me; all the day long the adversary oppresses me.

Боже, помилуй меня, потому что люди меня затравили; всякий день, нападая, меня теснят.

2 T hey that lie in wait for me would swallow me up or trample me all day long, for they are many who fight against me, O Most High!

Враг травит меня весь день; много тех, кто против меня воюет, о Всевышний.

3 W hat time I am afraid, I will have confidence in and put my trust and reliance in You.

Когда мне страшно, я на Тебя полагаюсь.

4 B y God I will praise His word; on God I lean, rely, and confidently put my trust; I will not fear. What can man, who is flesh, do to me?

На Бога, Чье слово я славлю, на Бога полагаюсь, и не устрашусь: что может мне сделать смертный?

5 A ll day long they twist my words and trouble my affairs; all their thoughts are against me for evil and my hurt.

А они весь день искажают слова мои, всегда замышляют сделать мне зло.

6 T hey gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they watch my steps, even as they have waited for my life.

Составляют заговоры, таятся, наблюдают за каждым моими шагами, желая меня убить.

7 T hey think to escape with iniquity, and shall they? In Your indignation bring down the peoples, O God.

Так не дай им избежать наказания за их вину; в гневе Своем, Боже, низложи народы!

8 Y ou number and record my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle—are they not in Your book?

У Тебя записаны все скитания мои; собери мои слезы в сосуд Свой, – не в Твоей ли книге они?

9 T hen shall my enemies turn back in the day that I cry out; this I know, for God is for me.

И враги мои обратятся вспять, когда я о помощи воззову. Так я узнаю, что Бог со мной.

10 I n God, Whose word I praise, in the Lord, Whose word I praise,

На Бога, Чье слово я славлю, на Господа, Чье слово я славлю,

11 I n God have I put my trust and confident reliance; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

на Бога полагаюсь, и не устрашусь: что может мне сделать человек?

12 Y our vows are upon me, O God; I will render praise to You and give You thank offerings.

Боже, я дам Тебе, что обещал, я принесу Тебе жертвы благодарения.

13 F or You have delivered my life from death, yes, and my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life and of the living.

Ведь Ты меня спас от смерти и не дал споткнуться моим ногам, чтобы мне во свете живых ходить пред Тобою.
