1 H ave mercy upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to the multitude of Your tender mercy and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions.

Боже, помилуй меня по Своей милости, по великой Своей любви изгладь мои беззакония.

2 W ash me thoroughly from my iniquity and guilt and cleanse me and make me wholly pure from my sin!

Омой меня от неправды и от греха очисти,

3 F or I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; my sin is ever before me.

потому что я сознаю свои беззакония, и грех мой всегда предо мной.

4 A gainst You, You only, have I sinned and done that which is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified in Your sentence and faultless in Your judgment.

Против Тебя Одного я согрешил и в Твоих глазах сделал зло. Ты справедлив в Своем приговоре и безупречен в суде Своем.

5 B ehold, I was brought forth in iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me.

Вот, грешником я родился, грешным зачала меня моя мать.

6 B ehold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart.

Но Ты желаешь истины, сокрытой в сердце, так наполни меня Своей мудростью.

7 P urify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Очисти меня иссопом, и буду чист; омой меня, и стану белее снега.

8 M ake me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice.

Дай мне услышать веселье и радость; пусть порадуются кости, Тобой сокрушенные.

9 H ide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities.

Отврати лицо от моих грехов и неправду мою изгладь.

10 C reate in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.

Сотвори во мне чистое сердце, Боже, и обнови во мне правый дух.

11 C ast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.

Не отвергни меня от Себя и не лиши меня Твоего Святого Духа.

12 R estore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Верни мне радость Твоего спасения и Духом владычественным поддержи меня

13 T hen will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.

Тогда я научу нечестивых Твоим путям, и грешники к Тебе обратятся.

14 D eliver me from bloodguiltiness and death, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness (Your rightness and Your justice).

Боже, избавь меня от кровопролития, Боже моего спасения, и язык мой восхвалит праведность Твою.

15 O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

Открой мне уста, Владыка, и они Тебя возвеличат.

16 F or You delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it; You find no pleasure in burnt offering.

Жертва Тебе неугодна – я дал бы ее, всесожжения Ты не желаешь.

17 M y sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, such, O God, You will not despise.

Жертва Богу – дух сокрушенный; сокрушенное и скорбящее сердце, Боже, Ты не пренебрежешь.

18 D o good in Your good pleasure to Zion; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Сотвори Сиону добро по Своей благосклонности; заново возведи стены Иерусалима.

19 T hen will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, justice, and right, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then bullocks will be offered upon Your altar.

Тогда будут угодны Тебе предписанные жертвы, возношения и всесожжения; тогда приведут быков к Твоему жертвеннику.
