1 G ive the king Your judging, O God, and Your righteousness to the king’s son.

(71-1) ^^Псалом Давида.^^ Боже! даруй царю Твой суд и сыну царя Твою правду,

2 L et him judge and govern Your people with righteousness, and Your poor and afflicted ones with judgment and justice.

(71-2) да судит праведно людей Твоих и нищих Твоих на суде;

3 T he mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness.

(71-3) да принесут горы мир людям и холмы правду;

4 M ay he judge and defend the poor of the people, deliver the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor,

(71-4) да судит нищих народа, да спасет сынов убогого и смирит притеснителя, --

5 S o that they may revere and fear You while the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

(71-5) и будут бояться Тебя, доколе пребудут солнце и луна, в роды родов.

6 M ay he be like rain that comes down upon the mown grass, like showers that water the earth.

(71-6) Он сойдет, как дождь на скошенный луг, как капли, орошающие землю;

7 I n His days shall the righteous flourish and peace abound till there is a moon no longer.

(71-7) во дни его процветет праведник, и будет обилие мира, доколе не престанет луна;

8 H e shall have dominion also from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.

(71-8) он будет обладать от моря до моря и от реки до концов земли;

9 T hose who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before Him and His enemies shall lick the dust.

(71-9) падут пред ним жители пустынь, и враги его будут лизать прах;

10 T he kings of Tarshish and of the coasts shall bring offerings; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

(71-10) цари Фарсиса и островов поднесут ему дань; цари Аравии и Савы принесут дары;

11 Y es, all kings shall fall down before Him, all nations shall serve Him.

(71-11) и поклонятся ему все цари; все народы будут служить ему;

12 F or He delivers the needy when he calls out, the poor also and him who has no helper.

(71-12) ибо он избавит нищего, вопиющего и угнетенного, у которого нет помощника.

13 H e will have pity on the poor and weak and needy and will save the lives of the needy.

(71-13) Будет милосерд к нищему и убогому, и души убогих спасет;

14 H e will redeem their lives from oppression and fraud and violence, and precious and costly shall their blood be in His sight.

(71-14) от коварства и насилия избавит души их, и драгоценна будет кровь их пред очами его;

15 A nd He shall live; and to Him shall be given gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made for Him and through Him continually, and they shall bless and praise Him all the day long.

(71-15) и будет жить, и будут давать ему от золота Аравии, и будут молиться о нем непрестанно, всякий день благословлять его;

16 T here shall be abundance of grain in the soil upon the top of the mountains; the fruit of it shall wave like Lebanon, and the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

(71-16) будет обилие хлеба на земле, наверху гор; плоды его будут волноваться, как на Ливане, и в городах размножатся люди, как трава на земле;

17 H is name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed and bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed!

(71-17) будет имя его вовек; доколе пребывает солнце, будет передаваться имя его; и благословятся в нем, все народы ублажат его.

18 B lessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone does wondrous things!

(71-18) Благословен Господь Бог, Бог Израилев, един творящий чудеса,

19 B lessed be His glorious name forever; let the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen!

(71-19) и благословенно имя славы Его вовек, и наполнится славою Его вся земля. Аминь и аминь.
